If you're an anime fan you'll love this fantasy show. If you're not an anime fan you'll also love this show. Seriously, this was epic. Plot, voice acting, and writing is all great. Animation could probably be a bit smoother but the effects are awesome. I totally recommend it. There's lots of epic battles and such. Though the show is based off of the Old Testament/Torah, it is in no way preachy or annoying like some other Bible-inspired media. Religious people will love it for the Bible references and non-religious people will love it for its unique fantasy aspect. Show is completely appropriate for I'd say ages eight and up but is also really entertaining for teens.

So excited to watch this with my kids.

A fun animated series that uses Biblical and extra-biblical texts to explore similar themes.

I love the playful realistic nature of the character interactions. Given a different interpretation to some of the interactions we might read about in the ancient texts than a more tradition/formal one that would have the characters speaking in perfect phrasing and manners.

The 80's style music sequences are super fun for the parents too.

Giants, fallen angels, worship of little "g" gods divination and acknowledgement of what is good and what is bad.

So cool, excited.

Gave this a follow, the colors are great and bright, the story seems very interesting and the voice actors are great! Regardless of if you're religious or not, you can't deny this is dope, it's just a good story. Only question is, when's the next episode coming? I guess I'll have to settle for the manga/rippa verse collaboration until then. I heard this is estimated to go only for a quite a few seasons which is definitely necessary when you have lots of characters with different back stories and motives. I have a feeling for those who like Avatar and DBZ and animes like that will definitely love this.

That was an amazing pilot. The animation, voice acting, the action choreography, and the plot were all well done. A small gripe that I have was that some of the mouth movement was a bit out of sync but it's hardly noticeable and it didn't take anything away from the episode. I've been waiting for a show like this and it didn't disappoint. They did a really good job setting up things for the next episodes and I now find myself wondering what's going to happen. The manga also looks like it's been done well too. I can't wait for episode 2, hopefully it isn't too far away. And hopefully the rest of the episodes come soon after that.
