Top Boy Was very good in first season , then It become boring with Unnecessary conversations The Bad things that many Times you know what will happen from the clear Situation. It is loses the sense of surprise many times The story Was great but full of Unnecessary Drama.

Last Season was the Bad one, Few conversations, and fouced in Non Known and not intresting people such as Salon worker and Samar house people and their lives.

In Some characters they did not tell us about What happen to them or where are they now.

The End was very very bad my rate was 8 for top boy after the last seaon it become 6.

A London Game of Thrones type season finale has turned up here. Seems lazy writing although some good performances remain throughout the cast. Barry Keoghan (Johnny) the new Irish contact is a good additional casting but the back story and depth of insight of the relevance of an Irish family removing the Moroccan connect lacked all kinds of creative storytelling. What was their value add there? Just chucked in a new opp for villains sake. A lot of the comparable Narco type seasons we watch now are much more detailed in the backstory of how operations work and the oppositions which crop up.

Kano's acting has been admirable throughout and Dushane's finale is commendable especially the closing relationship which entails by the garages.

Jaq's and Kano's character deserved a better close it would have been more interesting to show her taking the top spot than just stealing the food. At least show her locking off Sully now that she has grew a conscious for the first time.

I really love Top Boy series. I think performances are great, the first 4 seasons are pretty good and the conclusion even predictable is acceptable and watchable.

Let's focus on the last season, the weakest, by far.

First, performances are not as strong as usual and the only one who still reach a great level is Sully. Dushane and Jaq are just Ok because of the script here. Looks like the writers gave more importance to Sully to become The Top Boy.

Second, the script is the worst by far. It does not add anything new to the story and it is feel rushed as others said. I guessed the ending easily and the impact was not as great as it should be.

Anyway, even the fifth season and last 6 episodes are mostly so, so, the overall conclusion is that Top Boys is one of the best British series of all time. I recommend to anyone who love to watch a crime-drama-drugs-human story, full of soul and great characters. Enjoy!

Season 3 was a strange case of completely rushed less episodes and dropped storylines/wrapped up in one scene. But still somehow doing it well?

It was as if they said right, we want to do a much shorter season and wrap it all up. And the directors, cast and production team ran with it and did an absolutely fantastic job.

I'd have loved more. But what we did get, I thought was poignant, brilliantly acted as usual, (the actress who plays jaq is going places for sure) and very well shot. Well done to everyone who worked on top boy from summerhouse to the Netflix continuation.

And message to Netflix if this was your doing stop RUSHING, there are still plenty of people out there who brains aren't mushed from TikTok that only enjoy quick digestible shows!!

We are the food! We waited one and a half years for them to deliver roughly 5.5 hours of a Top Boy catastrophe. The characters were out of character for the entire 6 episodes. They really should explain this to the fans. Nothing was right here. Dushane was always the barometer, Sully the thermometer, yet they decided to mix everything up. They even let Jaq go mad, a character that only ever demonstrated loyalty. I give it and the season 5 stars just for episode one. They really setup the confrontation between the Irish and Sully so well, that storyline could have worked for an entire season by itself.
