Women on Death Row

I don't typically watch these types of shows, but I gave it a shot and couldn't believe how upsetting the content was for me. I consider myself pretty tough, and I also consider myself pretty empathetic, but these women are monsters. And not just monsters, they are whiny and pathetic monsters. They think that they are entitled to something that their victims will never have... They want access to their children, to their families, they want mental and physical stimulation, they feel they are being unfairly punished for robbing their victims of the very things they complain they no longer have.

I understand that often the death penalty is handed down erroneously, which is why there are so many appeals, but quite frankly shooting these women the day after their trial would've been just fine as far as I'm concerned and I'm pretty sure their victim's family would agree.

Obviously, the show is well done to elicit such emotions from me.
