This is an underrated film that deserves more recognition. It's light and entertaining, but what makes it special is the strong sense of nostalgia it brings-especially for those who grew up in the 80s and 90s. It really takes you back to your childhood, when local heroes like Keluang Man were a big part of our lives. Don't expect explosive, high-budget fight scenes like in typical Hollywood superhero films. This isn't about that. It's about heart, humor, and Malaysian charm. That said, the fight scenes that are included are still impressive and well done. A refreshing local superhero film that stands out.
The plot, for me, was okay. There were metaphors, elements of tariqat (spiritual path), and interpretations that vary depending on the individual. It's quite deep. Maybe for those who weren't born in the 80s or 90s, it might be a bit hard to grasp the humor and nostalgia.
There will definitely be comparisons with Deadpool or Avengers, but this is Malaysia version. Keluang Man originally was a Malaysian cartoon show for kids, so naturally, it holds nostalgic value for those who grew up in that era. Even though the storyline differs from the cartoon version, the movie is actually more interesting.
I adore the CGI,what fell short for me was just the cat. Everything else was actually okay. Of course, you can't compare it with Marvel, the budget is a whole different league. For Malaysia production, Keluang Man is considered great, especially with how it represented Malaysia's multiracial society.
They really did their best to bring in elements like Malay Silat, Malaysia love for 90s Bollywood, and true Malay characteristics, even the hero clearly has strong Javanese Malay features, not mixed.
As usual, many people like to compare it to Marvel's level, which is crazy considering the massive difference in budget. Just because the cat failed, people immediately assumed all the CGI was bad. If the cat wasn't there, I think overall the CGI would've looked much better.
Of course, there are some flaws here and there. That's normal. Overall, I liked it. It was enjoyable to watch, especially the fight scenes for audiences who may not fully grasp the philosophy behind the plot.

I'm not afraid to say I love this movie, the only thing lackluster was it's action, which honestly with the comedy and pure gold it was, it wasn't that noticable.
The acting was obvious and tailored for the theme of the movie, who cares if it's flat or unemotional, the movie clearly intends to be a comedy.
The comedy is what got we, I'm smiling like a fool throughout the whole thing, I'm not going to spoil much, but it's a delight to watch this, truly the best movie I've watched thus far this year, and the Easter eggs from high counsil was very nice.
Honestly looking forward to whatever pasal productions had in the future, both their high council series and kahar movie are my favourite media from malaysian studios, I absolutely love this movie as well.

Consider this movie was pretty good but somewhat little bad. But not much only for some certain Scene that don't fit or not on point. Stepping into the world of Keluang Man I was immediately transported back to the vibrant childhood days. But Since This Movie Was Set To New Era So I think Its pretty Decent. And This movie is a delightful. Funny and to the beloved Malaysian comic character, blending nostalgia with a fresh, lively energy that keeps viewers engaged from start to finish. Tone is light-hearted yet infused with moments of earnestness, making the movie accessible to audiences of all ages. And plus With Some Cameo That Are kinda Worth it and somewhat good. The film's score and soundtrack are lively and memorable, enhancing the emotional beats and action sequences alike. Special effects and editing work seamlessly, making the superhero escapades feel exciting yet grounded. Of course, as with any film, there are moments where pacing could be tighter, and some jokes may feel a tad predictable like Deadpool. Well maybe little. However, these minor flaws are easily overshadowed by the film's genuine warmth and charm.
So In Conclusion. It was Pretty good Movie. I'm rating this movie a good solid 8/10. Kinda Well deserved for our superhero Keluang Man by NAS-T.

In my opinion, the movie is worth 7.5, but I have given it a bonus of 0.5 more due to the nostalgic references.
I watched this movie in a cinema alone, but I genuinely believe it is worth watching with your children or family members.
The story is simple yet possesses good ideas, and the implementation is commendable. However, the third act could have been better and more impactful. The relationship between the characters and the audience could have been strengthened with a more satisfying ending. I hope that in the sequel, they can eliminate some of the excessive elements while adding a touch of greater seriousness.
Given that Keluang Man is a mental patient, the overall tone of the movie should not be taken too seriously, unlike DC or MCU films. Nevertheless, it could be improved.
The visual and audio aspects are undoubtedly exceptional and stand out. The fighting scenes could be enhanced by employing more angles and choreography in future installments. It is advisable to avoid excessive CGI to enhance the viewing experience.
The actors are all exceptional and perform exceptionally well. While the jokes may be clichéd for critical thinking viewers, they are, in fact, quite humorous and realistic.
Overall, this movie offers an enjoyable and entertaining journey. I highly recommend it.
