'Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout' is a gripping crime thriller that kept me hooked from start to finish. It's such an intense crime thriller! I was totally engrossed from beginning to end. The suspense just keeps building up, keeping you guessing till the very last scene. Manoj Bajpai's acting is top-notch, as always. The supporting cast also shines, adding depth and nuance to the narrative. The cinematography and direction further elevate the viewing experience, immersing you in the gritty and atmospheric world of the Night Owl Bar. Definitely one of the best suspense thrillers I've seen this year. Trust me, it's totally worth watching, especially if you're into crime mysteries. You won't be disappointed!

Film Review: Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout streaming on Zee5!!

A shootout at a Bar in Mumbai resulting in the deaths of 10 people including an influential political party member .. A decomposed body of a young girl found in Jaipur !! Are these 2 cases related? Are things actually the way they are made to seem ? Well... that's a puzzle for ACP Verma ( Manoj Bajpayee) and his team from the SCU ( Special crimes unit) to solve !!

The film starts off on a promising note with Manoj Bajpayee, Prachi Desai & Co. From the SCU thrown on the thick of things right from the word go. However as the story progresses, flaws in the script begin to appear and if u r a wee bit observant ( like yours truly 😁) u will guess the killer well before the climax !!

Manoj Bajpayee gives it his all to make the character of ACP Verma human and relatable!!

He is the one to watch out for and the guy doesn't let the "common man" down 🙂 Prachi Desai, a great actor is unfortunately reduced to a character artist just like in Silence1.

In this case a weak script lets the film down . The climax ... really makes u feel as if u r watching a Ekta Kapoor serial !! Having said that.. the film has its moments , especially the investigative part where Bajpai & his team try and find a correlation between the cases . That was enjoyable!

When u compare this film to its predecessor, Silence1, it falls short of expectations as the bar had been set high !! As the ending has been left open for a sequel, the writers need to iron out the rough edges and come up with something more innovative!!

A one time watch .. cudve been better though !!

A decently made thriller movie with a solid performance from Manoj Bajpayee. The other cast members also do well and thankfully there is no overacting from them. The case builds up as the movie progresses and it might seem like a slow burner for some viewers but it doesn't become boring at all. The plot is well laid out but one might feel that towards the end when the main culprit is caught it is a bit far fetched. But that's for the viewer to decide. The movie does focus on an important topic and stays true to that.

Besides Bajpayee's smooth acting one other person who definitely caught my attention is Parul Gulati. She acted well and played her part with witch such finesse. Will definitely like to see more of her in future movies.

This is a movie definitely worth a watch.

His acting speaks louder with each films & webseries. Prachi Desai have done a decent job. The turns & twist was spectacular. Best suspense crime thriller for 2024 with a proper story line & morality. 2hours 22 minutes was a treat to watch. Sab bata diya to dekhoge kya.. I would urge the films critics to watch this specially. And a very good movie for crime thriller lovers. I just loved every bit of it. Do watch it.
