An action thriller like no other

I would love to watch more of Satnam Purewal's previous work or maybe even Chris Sanders' films to see where or how this was made. Irish Ashes is an action thriller like no other. Writer and producer Chris Shane Sanders stars as the ruthless Tristan who is on a deadly rampage across London (possibly) to track down those responsible for his sister's disappearance, with a cold Steven Segal face. The lighting and sound is good. Storytelling and camerawork is questionable at times and I really wanted to know where the crowdfunding money went. Just seems weird based on the quality of this work. It's a film like no other.

A Tasty New Layer Cake

For fans of films such as Layer Cake and Snatch, Irish Ashes is for you. Chris Shane Sanders writes and stars in the film as Tristan. Tristan has returned to the seedy British underground to settle old scores while looking for his sister. Scott Alan Ward and Claire Jared lead the narrative with terrific performances while the rest of the cast puts in a great shift that keeps the viewer glued to a plot full of twist and turns. Director Satnam Purewal litters the screen with great set pieces and quick pace scenes that keep the film flowing. Irish Ashes is a gut punch film that keeps audiences inhaling for breath up to the exciting final scene.

Not actors

Acting was terrible,no suspense,no action. Fight scenes were staged by 3 year olds. Where did they find these people. Music in the background sounded like a funeral. Movement by actors was slow. This movie must of costed 50 cents to make. I bet the farm people will walk out after a few minutes. I love English movies but this looked like some kids made it at school by 12 year olds . No special effects. Stone faced actors never heard of any in this film. No plot no explanation why the main actor was doing. No people in the strip clubs. Bland bland bland. I would have given it a minus 0 .Dont waste ur time.

This generations " Get Carter "

Another great feature from acclaimed director Satnam Purewal and actor - producer - director Chris Shane Saunders. Really great cast including star turns from Chris himself , Paul Preston , Claire Jared and a welcome cameo from Mike Lehane . Brilliant direction as always from Sam Purewal , great storyline great action sequences , all round great watch edge of seat stuff till end. This isn't just a action movie you can also relate to it as a family drama If your looking for a really good summer action movie with dramatic storyline this is it an excellent addition to the growing uks independent movie industry.

Couldn't decide if this was a wind up or not

I can safely say this is one of the worst films I've ever seen( and I've seen a lot of terrible movies) The acting is so atrocious that to me it seems almost deliberate. As other people say, the fight scenes are dreadful, the lead is about as hard as Pee Wee Herman, and the so called mobsters make the copper on Balamory look like Dirty Harry. I just couldn't stop thinking, this must be a wind up surely?! I see some people giving it a high rating, they MUST be confusing it with something else. I only gave it 1 star because zero wasn't an option. I highly recommend that if anyone is considering watching this, don't, it'll just annoy you from start to finish.
