Someone recommended this series because it has a flood in the last episode. This is exactly what is happening in Valencia right now (October 24). The series has the usual love stories and entanglements but it does it in a way that shines some light into the political situation in most European countries . The fight to have a public health system fully funded. The characters are all sleeping with each other but even that, happens in a credible way. They are a lot of gay characters and drugs play a role. The son of a doctor is always OD. The main characters is a handsome oncology doctor and the head of the Valencia government. Lot of eye candy everywhere since this is Valencia, Spain.
A new medical drama, maybe inspired by others, but more realistic.
Doctors and nurses work in a public hospital that politicians want to convert into private.
They struggle trying to do their job in an ostile situation.
They look more realistic than other medical drama: they look sometimes weak, tired and fragile, even unprepared for their job. They make mistakes and they pay for them.
I think they are more believable than some other characters, especially American ones where doctors and nurses always have perfect hair and makeup even after a 24 hour shift and patients are in perfect shape even tha day after a massive surgery.
I really enjoy it.

The production follows stereotypes that have been used in almost all Spanish productions, whether films or series, for a long time and in only one direction.
The situations presented in the series are predictable and easy to solve, without deviations and, in some cases, impossible to achieve.
The actors do their job well, giving life to those stereotypes that I mentioned earlier, giving life to and trying to justify the different situations.
It is not a recommendable series due to its final quality as a whole and it is better to choose others to fill our free time and there are still many good ones to enjoy.

Wow this blew me away.
I'm an NHS nurse of 27 years and really thought that the miserable UK was the only healthcare system that was not fit for purpose. I've always looked to the Spanish healthcare system as a model of excellence.
I'm sure that much of it was for dramatic licence but the chaos, total lack of staffing and below zero moral is not a drama on TV for me, it's real, each and every day.
The acting in this is absolutely top notch. Not a bad link anywhere and it's very well written. Multiple stories within.
I love the international dramas and am so grateful for the English dub as I hate subtitles. They are so much better than the utter trash that the UK spews out nowadays.
I was gripped to start to finish.
Excelente trabajo todo.

The series is a mess. If it was meant to be a critique of the privatization of public hospitals in Spain, it certainly did a disservice to public healthcare. Characters without discernment, completely lacking values in fulfilling their duties. Ridiculous and forced situations. Did they really want to defend public healthcare with these storylines? I imagine that progressive Spanish unionists who are staunch defenders of public healthcare must be very disappointed and angry with this series. If their initiatives are ridiculous, this series makes them look even worse. Not everything goes when it comes to seeking attention or protesting.
