Gulbeyaz (Yaz) works as a social media expert for a recording company, as she pursues her dream of making her father's poems into songs. She has a crush on singer Kemal, while coworker Murat has a crush on her. Her mom catches her lying.

Yaz's mother pressures Murat and Yaz to get married ASAP. Murat is all too happy to play along, wishing it were the real deal, but Yaz thinks they are "just friends" and pretends for her mother's sake. They set up a meeting to exchange rings this evening, and have the families meet each other. Kemal pressures Yaz to participate in a music video. She reluctantly agrees, provided that her identity is hidden. Asli tries to sabotage Yaz.

Yaz's mom shoots a warning shot which causes Murat's mom to panic and call the police. Hoping his mom would rescind her complaint, Murat tells his mom that Yaz is pregnant. Yaz and Kemel are getting closer, and it makes Murat jealous.

Yaz is upset with Kemel after her image was exposed to the world. Kemel tries to win her favor. In order to avoid being forced to go back to her town, Fadime pretends to have an operation. Kemel wants Yaz to perform at the music festival.

Murat continues to hide his true feelings for Yaz. Kemel begins to value her more, and tries to express it. The mothers shop to fulfill Yaz's dowry. Yaz's mother forbids her to leave the house, but she manages to attend a charity event.

After wedding chaos, Neriman and Emine land at police station. Kemal pursues Sinan while Asli plans cover-up. Emine-Yaz relationship breaks. Murat tries to cheer Yaz. Alice's arrival brings confusion.

Yaz and Kemal's farmhouse adventure affects everyone. The marriage lie between Murat and Yaz is also questioned by everyone. Especially Neriman and Emine's scrutiny of this incident puts Yaz in a difficult situation. As Murat tries to distance himself from Yaz due to his heartbreak, Yaz starts to struggle alone to keep the lie going. She hides some things and asks Kemal and Asli for help. As she devises her new plan to resolve the questions in Emine's mind, things go wrong, and she finds herself in the biggest void of her life.

Asli and Kemal's concealment of their past relationship shakes Yaz's trust. What upsets Yaz the most is that Murat also knows this truth and hides it from her. While Kemal tries to find ways to apologize, Murat gives up everything and shares the whole truth with his mother. He tells Yaz that this is the right thing to do and that he no longer wants to play games. During this conversation, he confesses his love for Yaz, which changes everything.
