In a New York Police interrogation room, two detectives are trying to get answers from eight people living in the same building in the heart of Little Italy. Each tenant seems to have the means, motive, and opportunity to be involved in the recent disappearance of their Landlord. This is the story of a man who exploits the lives of eight people living in the same building owned by an old lady, who has just disappeared. The film begins with the discovery of a young girl dead body. Within an interrogation room of the New York criminal police, two detectives are trying to get answers from every occupants of the building, who seem to be involved in the disappearance of their owner. Everyone speaks about himself, of their personal problems and the relationship they have had with the old lady.
