Netflix's "Trigger" is a tense and immersive series that grabs your attention from the very first episode. The storytelling is sharp, the characters are well-developed, and the pacing never lets up. With its atmospheric visuals and strong performances, the show delivers suspense and intrigue without ever feeling predictable. If you enjoy psychological thrillers with clever twists, "Trigger" is absolutely worth your time.
From the very first scenes, this action thriller grabs you and doesn't let go. It's bloody, it's intense, the acting is solid, and although you can ascertain what the twist is fairly early on, you still have no idea what the outcome with be in the end. It's written that well.
I would also consider it a clear, brutal reflection, near parody, of the USA, it's gun obsession and irrationality, and how people allow themselves to be manipulated by those most concerned with profit, not freedom, public safety or society.
"Trigger" takes the well known Korean troupe of bully and revenge to a new level with its "What if?" action packed series. Sometimes you do root for "the bad guy". And there is talk of a season 2 already.

I found this interesting and disturbing at the very same time. Interesting in that whether they were trying to express a personal or political point of view it really did bring an intense emotional response.
The disturbing part was not only the violence but also how people respond to bullying and hateful behavior.
Korean dramas lately have been replete with violence and bullying scenarios. If that is indicative of Korea or everywhere I don't know. What is both interesting and disturbing is that in nearly every scenario in this drama they behaved as if there were absolutely no other ways for them to get the perpetrators to stop or to see justice done.
As social issues, like bullying, for example professionals need to make sure options are known for children and adults to protect themselves safely.

I recently finished watching a show that I really liked overall. The story kept me interested from the beginning to the end. Usually, when I watch shows, I tend to skip some scenes, especially if they are slow or if certain characters are not interesting. But this time, I didn't skip anything. Every part of the show felt important, and I actually enjoyed watching it fully. That doesn't happen very often, so it really says something about how good the show was.
Even though I liked most of it, I have to admit that I didn't enjoy the ending. It felt a bit off or disappointing. Maybe I expected something more powerful or emotional. Still, the rest of the show was strong enough that I don't regret watching it at all.
What made this show stand out for me was the plot. It felt new and fresh. I haven't seen many stories like this before, so it was exciting to see something different. The way the story was told was also creative and kept me guessing about what would happen next. That made it fun to watch.
I also liked the characters and how their stories were connected. Even the side characters had a purpose, and their scenes were not boring. That's probably why I didn't skip anything. It felt like every moment added to the overall story.
Compared to another show I watched called Good Boy, I think this one was much better. Good Boy didn't grab my attention in the same way. This show felt more unique and well-made. It's always nice to find something that surprises you in a good way.
Overall, even with the ending, I really enjoyed the experience.

This is quite an entertaining show, just treat it as a fictional film and do not question how or why it could happen if it is in real life.
The two leads are both excellent, though not your usual good looking Korean leads. It is however a good change of scenery though.
The bullying culture in Korea is rampant, and the incompetence of the police force somehow depicts the situation almost accurately as we can see from the Kim Soo Hyun/Garosero incident, and the Lee Sun-kyun suicide, among others.
I have to admit, somehow it is satisfying to have a gun and just off that person who inflicts so much pain on the victims. Fortunately, it is a fiction. But it did let viewers think carefully how we should act and behave as a decent human being, be more sensitive to other people's feeling and stop the bully culture.

- BlooperAll of the firearms used in the show are airsoft guns, (real guns are banned in South Korea. As noted in the show.) The cast frequently hold them incorrectly, with the butt of the rifle off of the shoulder, or over the top of the shoulder. If these were real firearms they would suffer shoulder injuries holding them in this manner.
