My unplanned Couples Therapy weekend has certainly been improved by the performances of Audrey Kovár and Ryan Balas. These two have some of the best chemistry I've seen for a long time in a budget-conscious independent effort, as the estranged married couple who hook up for a couple of days in Omaha.

Real enough to be both joyful and uncomfortable by turns, filmed bare-bones and honestly blunt. Consider me happily surprised.
