Abang and Adik are undocumented orphans in Malaysia. While the older brother who is deaf has resigned himself to a life of poverty, his younger sibling burns with indignation. A brutal accident upsets their relationship's fragile balance.

Abang (33 years old) and Adi (28 years old) are native Malaysians but live without ID cards. Although they were born in this country, a quirk of fate led them to be isolated by society, having no recognized nationality. They cannot enjoy the rights and welfare of ordinary citizens, nor can they apply for passports or even bank accounts.

Abang, the older brother, was born mute, and his only goal in life is to work hard and seek a stable life. He strives for life and accepts his fate. On the other hand, Adi is unwilling to give in to his fate and becomes involved in selling fake IDs, aiming to make fast money and get away from this place with Abang. They are stranded at Pudu, which has an ancient wet market. Here was once the most prosperous community in the city, but now it's mottled and dilapidated. The surrounding old houses are filled with migrant workers from all over the world, including legal or illegal workers, refugee migrant workers, marginalized families, or even shut-ins.

The brothers met Money (60 years old) in the community. She is transgender, and she is the only person in this community who cares about the brothers. One day, there comes a social worker who is called Jia En from the Social Work Center. She is a kind and enthusiastic girl who always tries her best to help marginalized residents apply for a legal identity card. She makes every effort to help the brothers. However, a fatal accident then happens.

Before dawn, while Adi is still asleep, Abang makes up his mind, returning to Kuala Lumpur alone. The accident once again places Abang and Adi in dire straits.
