Haile: A Family Nightmare

"Haile" was a compelling horror film that captivated me from beginning to end. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a realistic and thought-provoking horror experience. The film's sound design and musical choices were also noteworthy. The eerie sounds and unexpected noises that followed moments of silence sent shivers down my spine. The natural performances and believable reactions of the main characters added another layer of depth to the film. Witnessing their moments of terror made me contemplate how I might react in similar situations in real life. However, those who are sensitive to horror and suspense should be prepared before watching it!

And always remember, Alper Mestçi is the best.

I'm a person who can't handle sudden jumpscares but this movie is just for me. Before almost every scare there is this sound warning which sounds like a person running away while yelling "ah". The scares were not cheesy. The budget was just enough. Sound quality was fantastic. The phone ring effect made me double check my phone, I'm assuming most of the budget went to the sound team. The lore was quite satisfying, leaving the ending on a cliffhanger. Hope to see Haile 2. The eyes made me avert my eyes from the screen. Overall a solid masterpiece, every horror enjoyer should watch this movie at least once!

I watch all horror movies, even if they're boring. When you make a supernatural movie, you have to be careful in which country you make it. Your movie will be directly compared to Siccin and Dabbe, so you have to do your best. The horror scenes were mostly clichés and apart from one or two, I didn't find anything special. Most of the scenes were predictable. I couldn't believe the scene where the man falls into a place like a grave was repeated for five minutes just to scare him.

As a horror movie enthusiast, this is an extremely ridiculous movie that I was patient with until half way through and then fast forwarded. Alper Mesci always does the same thing and expects different results. The whole gimmick of the movie is dirty-faced men staring with their eyes wide open, scrawny figures quickly approaching a person, two or three people sitting or standing looking at the person's face, a screaming aunt and white colored lenses. Here's a horror movie. But it will definitely take place in a village.

I swear I am disgusted with your magic and your demons. I opened it without looking at the director's name, otherwise I would never have tried to watch it.

It is a Turkish style horror movie produced in 2023. The plot is simple, everyone made each other cast a spell.
