But I can't stand Christine's voice and I get it. She might have a medical issue but every time she's on screen it's like nails on chalkboard. Also, everyone talks as if they're reading cue cards. And stop bringing up the Golden State killer. And why is there a long requirement to post something on this site. I love cheese and bread. I'm just trying to make the minimal requirements of this review. All M&Ms taste the same despite the color. Omg I still have 150 characters to post. Any whomst. Um this show is horrible but not as horrible as the requirements to post a review on this site. FA la la?

The show itself is quite good , but one of the main people to talk , Christine (HannahI believe), speaks in a very breathy halting manner which detracts VERY much . I'm guessing maybe a health issue , and if that's it , I'm sorry she has issues , but it's very hard to listen to and enjoy the show . Please find someone to replace her . And since it's required to put more in writing to submit a review , I'll fill it up with nonsense , which it Is Nonsense to require a long review when I can put the review succinctly just by saying Christine Hannah is very unpleasant to listen to , but now I've met the requirements. So there you have it .

I am not usually one to review a show based on one person especially if that person is a professional speaking about their expertise. However, Christine Hannah has been on at least one other show, and both times her voice/delivery is so distracting it almost ruins the show. I respect her knowledge but her voice sounds so pained, as if she cannot breathe or is struggling to talk. She may be a popular Canadian forensic specialist because this is the second time she's been on a series that I've watched. I apologize if she has a medical condition, but her voice may not be appropriate for television. Otherwise, it's a good and interesting true crime show.
Paced perfectly. Use of differing professionals give clear information. Each have their own style and own expertise. They are the best of the best and I will use some of these when teaching my courses. I agree that the golden state killer stuff is repeated too often, but it is still cool. For those mocking Christine Hannah's voice, grow up. I find it refreshing that a perfect spokesperson/model/plastic person is not cast and instead a real expert demonstrates her expertise.
I am struggling to finish Episode 2, but watching this series is like a Groundhog Day of documentaries. The amount of recaps, rehashing, replays and repetition following every single commercial break quickly progresses from bizarre to ludicrous, to the point that there is hardly any new material brought in before the next commercial break, after which the recaps start all over again.
I cannot recall a prior series that had this much padding and repetition stuffed into it, simply to fill out its time slot. Seek out your true-crime mysteries elsewhere.
