An ambitious concept for a short film, FAITHFUL sets itself up to fill big shoes but absolutely does so. It's not easy to get you fully invested and really tug the heartstrings in a short film; many try, most fail.
FAITHFUL succeeds at every level. It's beautifully written, the characters are dynamic and real, and the story arc is satisfying. It's well made, with a beautiful look, solid effects on a limited budget, and a talented cast.
If you're in the UK, watch it and follow their social media. Then watch it again, and tell everyone you know to watch it. If you're not in the UK, follow them on every social media platform you can. The reality of Hollywood today is that follower counts matter. I know, none of us like it. But you don't have to like something for it to be true. And the suits are more willing to invest if they believe there is already an audience for the person of project. Again, follow the artists you love!!
Although I'm not in the UK, I'm so grateful to have been given the opportunity to view FAITHFUL. If you're headed to Comic Con in San Diego, you will have the opportunity to see it there! Take it!
