Most of the people thinking pokemon horizon is not good because it doesn't feature ash Ketchum and Pikachu ,team rocket and ash's friends . But they are wrong the protagonist liko and Roy and other characters fullfill the without ash feeling .This show is relatable for new generation because it has rotom phone , online classes ,influencers etc . Pokemon horizon also features amazing animation and story and it reached peak in 18 th episode of this show. The story of black rakkuaza ,liko's pendent it's just amazing.and the backstory of liko's mother , captain Pikachu ,fride is good to . I heavily recommend you to watch this show .I bet you really gonna like this show.
That's amazing anime because you can watched the newest anime with the newly fresh story. Yeah we know that it's really hard that Ash(Satoshi) was replaced by the new MC Liko and Roy. But that's not make this anime is the worst pokemon anime. I mean look at new characters, they've a backstory that's reflected to who they are. There's more interesting characters, like Dot. She's my new favourite character because she's like me, the introvet. I wanna see more Adventures in the future(Maybe a new movie for them). Also the Villain(Team Explorers) is more relatable and more threating than the previous one(mainly Team Rocket) and I love them most.
And my conclusion is, I love their story goes on so far. I wanna say Thank you to all of you that've made this anime and the voice actors as well.

Pokemon horizons is if not one of the best pokemon animes out there. It's a breath of fresh air from ash and pikachu, who quite deserved to go after over 25 years on the scene. This anime introduces a variety of protagonists, known as the rising volttacklers, and you're sure to find one to relate to! This anime focuses on a magical pendant and an ancient pokeball in the hands of the two main protagonists, with the evil team the "explorers" trying to steal those treasures. Our heroes travel around the world, from kanto all the way to paldea, in search of special pokemon owned by an ancient adventurer the ancient pokeballs originally belonged to. Not only is this an amazing plot, it is being executed amazingly.
As for the characters, like i said earlier, you're sure to find one to relate to. Whether it be the shy but brave liko, the upbeat and outgoing roy, or the reclusive and slightly moody dot.
Watch this show and give these new protagonists a chance, because you will love them.

I've watched Pokemon Horizons Season 1 & 2 (Never been Boring)
A really fresh Start with Amazing Animation and Story
The Series is a big change for the Pokemon world. After so many years following Ash and Pikachu, this new series brings in two brand new main characters: Liko and Roy. And honestly, it works really well. The show feels fresh, exciting, and more emotional than before. Both the animation and the story are big improvements, and it's fun to watch whether you're new to Pokemon or have been a fan for years.
Animation: A Huge Improvement
Right away, one of the first things you'll notice is how beautiful the animation is. Compared to older Pokemon series, Horizons looks much more detailed and polished. The characters move smoothly, the colors are richer, and the lighting during battles or emotional scenes really stands out.
Battles in this series are way more exciting. Pokemon moves look more powerful, and the camera angles during fights make everything feel more intense. Captain Pikachu especially has some awesome fight scenes that show off just how good the animation has become. Even the small moments like wind blowing through trees is really detailed.
The airship the characters travel in is another cool visual element. It gives the series a unique vibe, almost like an adventure anime. There are also glowing effects, and ancient ruins that all add to the world and make it feel new and exciting.
Story: Deeper and More Focused
The story is where Horizons really changes things. Instead of going around collecting gym badges like Ash used to, Liko and Roy are on a different kind of journey. Liko has a mysterious pendant connected to something powerful, and Roy has an old Poke Ball linked to a legendary past. They travel with a group called the Rising Volt Tacklers-basically a team of explorers with a flying ship.
This series is more focused on long-term storytelling. Each episode connects to the next, so there's always a reason to keep watching. There are also real character moments, where Liko and Roy grow as people. Liko starts off shy and unsure of herself, but slowly becomes braver and more confident. Roy brings a lot of energy and curiosity, and his bond with Fuecoco is really fun to watch.
Season 2 builds on this even more. We get to learn more about Liko's family and why her pendant is so important. Roy also starts to discover the history behind his Poke Ball and the ancient Pokémon. The bad guys-called the Explorers-also become more interesting. They're not just "evil for no reason" characters. Some of them, like Amethio, have real depth.
One of the best things about this series is how it gives time for quiet, emotional moments. It's not just battle after battle. There are episodes where the characters reflect, talk, and grow closer. It feels more real, and it helps you care about them more.
Overall, Pokemon Horizons Season 1 and 2 are a great step forward for the franchise. The animation is the best it's ever been, and the story feels more meaningful than before. It's different from the old Pokémon series, but in a good way. It has emotional feel, mystery, adventure, and great visuals, never been boring.
If you're a long time Pokemon fan, you'll enjoy the new direction. And if you're new to the series, this is a great place to start. Horizons proves that even without Ash, Pokemon can still tell an amazing story.

This show has a lot of things going for it. The biggest one is that it's actually based around a storyline and sets up a lot of intriguing mysteries, which is better than the constant filler viewers had to contend with in the original anime.
The start of the show was a bit shaky for me. The two-episode premiere felt quite dry, and the introduction of the show's conflict was too jarring. However, the show gradually picks up the pace, and in the meantime makes up for it with a concrete story that's worth following. The ideas for each episode are creative and exciting, the villains are actually calculating and threatening instead of being bumbling fools, and the characters' actions are thoughtful and intelligent. Whoever's writing this show, props to you, because this is an impressive take on the Pokémon franchise!
Kids will definitely enjoy this, it's got a cool adventure-y vibe! If you're a teen or adult checking the anime out again, it'll naturally feel like a kids' show, but the quality story and aforementioned adventure-y vibe might just keep you sticking around. Maybe I'm biased since I'm a fan of Pokémon myself (the games, not the anime), but it really is a refreshing, interesting change.
