Just like any other profession focused drama, they follow the notorious bait and switch tactic and this drama was no exception. We were introduced to an attorney with a tragic past and a strong motive, he worked on 2-3 cases for the first half of the drama before shifting the drama into a love chase, hypergamy, and hasty revenge. This shift wouldn't have been a problem if it hadn't been so atrocious. Somewhere around episode 9 everything took a change for the worse, including the male lead, who had been a walking disaster since the beginning. Structuring a romance around him was a big mistake; he was unbelievably creepy, intrusive, touchy, and pushy for someone who he met very briefly. His behavior came off as nothing but repulsive while going against the narrative. However, even that changed around the same shift, he began to take the moral high ground without going through any prior development. On another note on the inconsistencies, some earlier scenes had artsy edits which were interesting but none of the later episodes had something similar. It was just a one off thing to gain attraction, again, bait and switch. Overall, the drama had some intriguing elements earlier on but none of them lasted long enough.

I was looking forward for this show, since it was his comeback after his military service but i was disappointed. The show is not bad but is not as good as I was expecting.

I absolutely adore Woo Do Hwan and he does a great job portraying this character, he nails every single emotion Han Su goes through and it's beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time.

But that's about it, no other character is as memorable as he is in this drama.

Useless Female lead, useless King, almost every single character is useless in this drama, even the bad ones are not very good at being bad.

Our main couple have zero chemistry and I think it's because the female lead is like a statue, her acting is terrible and she is just not natural. Even the kisses are the dreaded dead fish kdrama favorites .... :S

I found the plot extremely weak and wih loads of holes too. There's even stories that start and that they don't progress at all ( like the childhood friend with the princess nanny)

At the beginning the show started strong with the whole revenge story and I was hooked by all the cases and seeing our attorney outsmarting everyone, but that faded quickly and it got quite repetitive and boring.

Overall good enough to give you a few hours of entertainment, but that's all.

This is the 3rd show I have watched him in. My first was The Divine Fury, where he played a FANTASTIC job opposite Park Seo Joon and as the "evil one". I didn't realize until last week when I just completed My Country, where he played a a role that was serious and utilized his athleticism, that I decided to follow him and his career. Well, I started and completed this series, and let me tell you, you will be in stitches and laughing and crying along with the show. Then you will sit back and look at this man, then remember him in the Divine Fury and My Country and realize what a dynamic acting range this man has! My next show to watch will either be King of the Land or Mr Plankton, its still a toss up! I recommend this series, you will love it, especially if you love comedy with a little bit of drama :)

I was completely captivated by this show! Woo Do Hwan did a fantastic job of acting and N is also a very good actor. The show illustrated some of the inequalities of that period in a thoughtful but entertaining way and though Woo Do Hwan's character appeared goofy at times there was always an underlying seriousness and sense of justice. I was sad when the series was over and I am looking forward to more films that have Woo Do Hwan in them. I also hope to see N in more movies as I think he is also a very good actor and plays his roles with much sensitivity. I am very impressed with current Kdramas and look forward to many more.
