Skookum: The Hunt for Bigfoot

Well, the movie's cover was indeed the first hint that this was not going to be a great cinematic experience, and then there was the title of course. Yeah, but still, I believe in giving a movie a fair chance, because sometimes there's gold to be found amongst the rabble.

However, "Skookum: The Hunt for Bigfoot" wasn't one such occurrence.

But I suppose if you find a guy wearing a dubious rubber mask and a stuffy furry suit to be entertaining, then I am sure that you will find some sort of enjoyment in "Skookum: The Hunt for Bigfoot". I, however, just doesn't find such to be proper entertainment, so I was not enjoying this movie in any way.

The storyline written by Debi King McMartin, Lyn Morgan and Jack M.F. Skyyler was dubious at best. And it simply amazes me that not one, but three, count them, three writers could collectively manage to come up with a heap of dung such as "Skookum: The Hunt for Bigfoot".

And the acting in the movie, well it wasn't all that bad actually, but the actors and actresses just had very little to work with in terms of a proper script or likeable characters.

Should you happen to enjoy movies that deal with the mythical creature Bigfoot, then there are some way more entertaining and enjoyable movies on that particular topic. "Skookum: The Hunt for Bigfoot" is simply not worth the time, money or effort.

My rating of this 2016 movie settles on a mere two out of ten stars. This was a swing and a miss from directors Jack Jack Skyyler, Rob Gaudet and Alex Zinzopoulos.
