A raw film, has the right pieces but it's a very slow burn

All the Clichés, None of the Creativity: A Movie That Falls Flat

How many clichés can you pack into one movie?

This film seems determined to answer that question with a resounding "all of them."

From predictable plot twists to overused dialogue, it fails to bring anything fresh to the table. Every scene feels like a recycled moment from countless other films, making it a tiresome exercise in uninspired storytelling. The characters are 2D flat, the jokes are unnatural, and the drama is non-existent.

If you're looking for originality or creativity, look elsewhere - this is cinema on autopilot. An embarrassing attempt that does little more than test your patience.

King Ivory rises up!

I loved the sub plot with the teenagers and how this drug is killing our youth. A great piece of art reflecting life. Colby's performance was especially brilliant as the luring girlfriend to Jack. She is clearly young, lost in love and thw top drug on the street. Her emotions are raw and others can't help but to follow her in world of escape.

Blurry Faces, Broken Flow - King Ivory's Narrative Misfire

King Ivory" falters under a persistent fog of confusion-its characters, especially the victims, remain blurred and underdeveloped, leaving little room for genuine emotional investment. A disjointed and uneven sequence of events further fragments the narrative, eroding its momentum and diminishing its potential to deliver a compelling, impactful story. What could have been a tense, gripping crime drama instead feels unfocused, making it a frustrating watch from start to finish.

How America will never solve their drug problem.

How some people can rate this movie with the lowest score possible is a mystery to me. They must not watch a lot of movies I guess as I can think of at least thousand movies right now that are worse. King Ivory is an entertaining crime/drama about drugs, especially Fentanyl, and how all the parties involved are operating, from smugglers to dealers, from addicts to law enforcers. Sure the cinematography is quite raw and simple but it doesn't need to be extraordinary to tell this story. Good acting from the entire cast. Everybody will have their opinion on how to solve the problem, which by the way will never be solved as when there is demand there will always be supply. The orange goblin at The White House might think his fascist approach is the best but it's actually the worse. The only thing he will achieve is higher prices for the drug and so much more criminality to get the funds the tweakers need to get their next hit. Because the addicts will never go away and neither the demand. Helping the addicts is sadly the only way to solve the problem but that's something the orange imbecile is too dumb to understand.
