Not worth watching! Worst movie I've seen. Waste of money. Typical of Filipino movies, it's like watching a movie from the prehistoric times. Even cinematography is boring and lame not worth the decent money that I paid. I had high hopes but just like the other Philippine movies it failed to deliver. It looks hurriedly done by an inexperienced and neophite director with no skill whatsovee he should have stayed in doing useless commercials. I felt I was robbed. Toni's acting was really bad and she just does not know how to act maybe because of poor direction in the movie. I want my money back please!
My Teacher is a 2022 family drama film directed by Paul Soriano, starring Joey de Leon, Toni Gonzaga, and Loisa Andalio. The film is an official entry to the 2022 Metro Manila Film Festival.
The surface looks good, an individual wanting to make a change, to serve her purpose as an educator. My Teacher is a decent feel-good homage to our second parents at school. While the film lacks layers, it still manages to be pleasant from start to finish.
If you're looking for something deeper though, you might get a little disappointed. The film might touch on certain issues like the unfair treatment of both the students and the teachers from people with authority, and the lack of substance exploring the issues of why someone is taking his high school years as a senior citizen.
My Teacher is a breeze to watch if you're not looking for something that packs something emotionally big. While it does have some emotional moments, it could have used those emotional baggage for the film to have a more meaningful watch.

From this movie, I can say it was a good movie. The emotions is there. The characters are all on point. I am happy with this story as it relates to the real world of class here in Philippines. I really admire the natural acting and they really fit on their role. I also love the plot of the story how it ended well and perfectly from the very start. I hope all the student can able to watch this and to internalize the significance of the teacher, and it gives impact to them to change their lives into positive way and there is always a will and hope to change for the better. It really makes me cry from this movie. 10 over 10 for me.
