What a ride!!!

This movie got me from the start. The twist and turns in this movie feel like your on a roller coaster. The actor in this reminds me of John Travolta...specifically in Phenomenon. John Heard is fantastic and very intense. You will never believe the ending. There were some beautiful shots in this film. Great original music. At one point I fell off my seat(not kidding). The cast in this film are very believable. I could tell that the actors were always "there". I forgot I was watching a movie after the first couple minutes because of the intensity and great story. I wanted this film to never end, Really enjoyed the ride on this one. This film would make a great feature.

I friggin love this movie!!!

I saw this at a film festival and it was AWESOME!

Best independent film I have seen in the last 5 years.

It kept me guessing too. I don't want to ruin anything but there are a lot of twists.

I really liked the writing and I think the acting is great as well. There is a really interesting undercurrent in this film about what the cost of revenge is.

It reminded me of "Knife in the water" by Roman Polanski meets Memento.

Is this gonna be made into a feature?

I wanted to know more about the characters and see where the story goes. I hope so!

So cool! Such a great thriller!

Dude! This movie rocks! I loved it. So subtle and such great acting. Really intense!

It kept me on the edge of my seat. I had no idea the Dad from Home Alone was such an amazing actor and the other guy was just as awesome.

I go to a lot of film festivals and see tons of movies and this is one of the best I've ever seen. I saw that the lead wrote and directed it.

I want to find out what else he is doing or if they are going to make this into a feature. Does anybody know? Anyway, if you can find it online.

A must see

I recently saw this short at a film festival in Los Angeles and was blown away. I have noticed it listed in other festivals as well and to no surprise it appears to be doing well. Great performances by the cast. Ryan Surratt and John Heard play off one another like the pros they are and create in incredible tension that kept me on the edge of my seat. The story is gripping and action packed, especially for a short film. It left me wanting more. The cinematography and coloring really drew me in and very appropriately set the tone. This is truly a must see and I hope all good things for these great filmmakers. I look forward to seeing more from Surratt and Kemp.

Best Short Ever!

I already wrote this in the message board but I wanted to write a review because this movie is so rad! As my subtext says....this film is nothing but great. Wish smart wonderful acting and storyline..

i was expecting more melodrama...but it did not go there.

It was well calculated and a VERY interesting ride of story acting and and a twist that makes the short film genre completely take notice! Oh they should that is.. this is truly the best short i have seen in the past 12 years of being in LA.

So do yourself a favor and go see this film in the next film festival it plays in.
