Unnamed Memory

10/10 after watching the season 2. This is truly an underrated gem. In the end of the season 2, you'll know why this anime is named Unnamed Memory. If someone dropped this masterpiece after watching season 1, I'm sure you'll regret it later.

Oscar and Tinasha are the heart of this story. Their evolving relationship is a joy to watch - the initial wariness slowly giving way to trust, respect, and deep affection. Oscar's unwavering determination and Tinasha's mysterious yet vulnerable nature create a compelling dynamic that keeps you invested. Their banter, the quiet moments of understanding, and their shared trials are all incredibly well-written.

The anime goes insanely quick and often leaves key elements in the source material(ln) such as the time period between ep 12 and 13 it also reduced the time for character development which I found annoying. If you're someone who dint read the ln you might find the story mediocre but the ln is goated fr. Thus if you find the anime too fast please go read the light novel it goes slow and its quite fun to read .That's not to say the anime is bad just....not enough.(I'm doing this to reach char limit ahijBGhbnuhnsiuHJFGIWJAUHJuijuiowjuiSJauiFJUIEUasuiiFGJVIUSJaiojOUFVJSAughfasiuhgfjuiuwashjugidfhjuggfdsugfj)

A series that left me very sceptical. At first glance, the graphics were pleasant despite the very average animation. The story is interesting at times, but quickly becomes boring at others. A luxurious package that hides a passable job. A nice soundtrack however.

But why? Because this series doesn't get to the bottom of things and skimps over the story, because it's aimed at a fairly young audience after all. More like 10-12 years old.

The development of the characters is very poorly handled and we move from one subject to another very quickly.

The last episode kills the whole point of the story, a way of saying "don't follow this story because we're going to start again from 0".

We can criticise other series of the same genre for a certain violence, too much maturity or an overly dark universe, but here it's the lack of all that that leads to a gradual disinterest in the characters' development.

In fact, the character of Oscar or Tinasha can evolve perfectly well without either of the protagonists. Except that there's no longer any love story. That's the irony of this scenario.

It is nice if you have free time. It is although very fast paced. It is a rom-com which is also magical and adventurous. I recommend it. Main story plot is amazing with some not so good episodes as well. But to sum it up it is worth watching. It has a different style and the way love is portrayed is also different. The series does ask difficult questions for you as an audience to ponder upon as well. (On the topic of love and what it means). As a romantic series you will surely like the series and understand different angles at which a person thinks , acts and why he/she does what he/she does.
