Per The Playlist, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige offered a brief tease of what director Jake Schreier's upcoming take on Mutantkind will look like when its new X-Men team members are introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. "Jake’s going to make a youth-focused reboot, he revealed, adding, "That may be reflected in mutant castings, and it'll definitely be felt in the tone and perspective of the film."

While it remains to be seen which X-Men characters will be selected for the MCU, Schreier -- who previously helmed Marvel's critically, albeit not commercially successful film Thunderbolts* -- discussed what he most looks forward to exploring in the X-Men's neverending battles against supervillains and human prejudice. To Schreier, "The core idea of what 'X-Men' is involves complexity. It's an incredible opportunity with super interesting characters and [much] internal conflict.

“Kill Storm,” will be the mission of Rogue’s new incarnation ofX-Force, as the team reunites to kill an iconic X-Men hero. Rogue Heroes Season 2 has landed on MGM+ after making its debut on BBC One, and anyone looking for an exciting diversion will find it worth the wait. The season opener is a wild ride that's full of action, sarcastic humor and dark comedy as it continues the story of the iconic Special Air Service (Sas), adapted from Ben McIntyre's book of the same name. The series is definitely not for everybody, but those who like their adventure shows to be tongue-in-cheek will have a lot of fun.

The five-issue limited series promises to take fans back to Chris Claremont and Jim Lee's legendary Uncanny X-Men #269 and #274-275 where Rogue embarked on a wild journey in the Savage Land, began her passionate relationship with Magneto, and sported her now iconic Savage Land look.

A chance encounter on Valentine’s Day brings them together as they race through New York City to return a lost engagement ring and save one couple’s special day.

Imagine the outback under siege by a ferocious seven-foot-tall zombie kangaroo. That’s the premise of Rippy, a gloriously gruesome creature feature from debut director Ryan Coonan. Packed with thrills, chills, and dark humour, Rippy is a must-watch for fans of animals-gone-wild horror like Razorback, Rogue, and Black Sheep.

The film stars Michael Biehn as a grizzled local with a dark past, who teams up with Tess Haubrich (Alien: Covenant) to stop the zombieroo from wreaking havoc. Haubrich plays a small-town sheriff haunted by her father’s legacy, who must summon her courage when the locals begin turning up ripped to shreds.

Ororo Monroe, aka Storm of the X-Men, has been a busy woman lately. Storm recently joined the Avengers, and her ongoing solo series "Storm" has already been plenty eventful with only three issues so far.

To recap: Storm saved Tulsa from a nuclear meltdown, which was, in fact, a mutant child experiencing power onset. This inspired her to build the hovering "Storm Sanctuary" for mutants, but it also left her with radiation poisoning. After being sent to Brother Voodoo for some magical treatment, her life is saved, but she can't use her mutant powers for one week. So in "Storm" #3, Ororo visited Rogue's Uncanny X-Men in Louisiana and hooked up with Wolverine. At the issue's end, she was summoned by Doctor Doom who, since the 2024 crossover "Blood Hunt," is the Earth's new Sorcerer Supreme.

Regardless if they're set in the world of Marvel, DC Comics, or another comic book company, all superhero comics have at least one thing in common: they are timeless, in more ways than one. Yes, the stories themselves can feel timeless and ageless, but never more so than the characters within them. Rogue and Gambit are widely considered Marvel's best couple, and with good reason. Their love story has spanned decades, culminating in their long-awaited marriage. However, this fan-favorite X-Men couple wasn't always destined to be together. In fact, before they walked down the aisle, Marvel had plans to break up Rogue and Gambit for good.

Kelly Thompson, the writer of 2018's Rogue & Gambit miniseries, spoke about her experience with writing this beloved romance in an episode of the "Women of Marvel" podcast that centered on Rogue. When discussing how she ended up penning their story, Thompson had this to say:

Rogue and Gambit had definitely sort of fallen away from each other for a long time. And Marvel came to me. They knew I was interested in both characters. And they were like, well, “Ok. Well, maybe we're thinking about something for Rogue and Gambit.” And so, that was how it came to be.

Marvel loves a good moniker, but the codename Rogue may not be as accurate as it used to be. After all, Rogue has existed in Marvel lore ever since 1981. For 43 years, she has carried the name Rogue like a badge of honor as it ties tightly into her origin story. However, the X-Men icon has grown and evolved so much since her debut that Rogue become far removed from her origins. And of course, that puts Rogue's codename in a bad light.

With all that said, Brazil may have had the right idea by naming the character something other than Rogue. A further examination of X-Men comic book art covers featuring Rogue reveals that overseas, the Marvel hero is instead referred to as Vampira.

Burt, the gigantic saltwater crocodile who was on the receiving end of Mick “Crocodile” Dundee’s famous knife in the hit Eighties film Crocodile Dundee, has died. He was believed to have been about 90 years old.

Crocosaurus Cove, the aquarium in Darwin City, Australia, where Burt has lived since 2008, confirmed the animal’s death on Facebook. “Burt passed away peacefully over the weekend, estimated to be over 90 years old, marking the end of an incredible era,” the statement read.

Burt was a huge 5.1 meters (16 feet 8 inches) tall and weighed about 700 kilograms (110 stone). His appearance helped make Australia famous worldwide for its dramatic wildlife in movies. X-Men ’97 was a huge success for Marvel despite all the issues with the project and the alterations it made to the series’ canon. There are many reasons for this, but we won’t list them all here.
