25 Best Underrated Netflix Comedies
Image
Underrated comedy movies on Netflix offer a range of comedic styles, from slapstick to spoof, with memorable characters and hilarious performances. Despite critical backlash, movies like "The Happytime Murders" and "Dirty Grandpa" remain guilty pleasures and box office successes. "Eurovision Song Contest: The Story Of Fire Saga" and "Accepted" are surprising, underrated comedies on Netflix that deserve more recognition.

When it comes to the underrated comedy movies on Netflix, there are several to choose from that are both underappreciated and often labeled as guilty pleasures. It could be argued that most comedy movies are guilty pleasure movies that simply vary between comic tastes. The more ridiculous, far-fetched, or over-the-top a comedy is, the guiltier the pleasure of watching it. As a pure form of escapism, the comedy genre tends to sit near the top of the heap, offering audiences a chance to forget about life for a while with a big smile on their face.

Uncut Gems Supercut Video Drops Over 500 F-Bombs in 4 Minutes
Image
The Uncut Gems supercut featuring all of the movie's F-bombs has arrived. In total there are 560 utterances of the word "f***," which is impressive. What's even more impressive is that the supercut is just over 4 minutes in length. The Safdie Brothers movie has the fourth-most bad words out of any movie released in history, just behind Swearnet: The Movie, F***-a documentary on the word, and Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street.

Uncut Gems has the 4th most F-bombs in movie history, and yes before you ask, here's all 560 of them pic.twitter.com/sPJj0Ax1Nt

— NetflixFilm (@NetflixFilm) July 28, 2020

With the F-word being used 560 times in Uncut Gems, that means that there are an average of 4 f**** per minute. Adam Sandler stars in the movie as jeweler Howard Ratner, who is trying really hard to get out of debt. The Safdie Brothers movie shows his attempts to...

The Ultimate ‘Uncut Gems’ Supercut Brings Together All 506 Safdie Bros. F-Bombs — Watch
Image
Howard Ratner loves nothing as much as he loves placing sports bets, but dropping the F-bomb comes close. The Netflix Film team is celebrating Ratner this week with the ultimate “Uncut Gems” supercut that brings together every F-bomb dropped in the Safdie Brothers’ acclaimed drama. The A24-released “Uncut Gems” hit Netflix in May and rocketed to the top of the streamer’s daily list of most-watched films. The popularity of “Uncut Gems” on streaming follows its breakout box office performance, where it earned $50 million to become A24’s highest grossing title to date.

Bringing together all of the F-bombs in “Uncut Gems” isn’t a quick endeavor. The film has a total of 506 F-bombs, which puts it in the number four position on the list of movies with the most F-bombs. “Uncut Gems” trails the Canadian movie “Swearnet: The Movie” (935 uses), the F-bomb documentary “Fuck” (857 uses), and Martin Scorsese...

Adam Sandler, Mesfin Lamengo, Sun Zhi Hua-Hilton, and LaKeith Stanfield in Diamanti grezzi (2019)
Uncut Gems Doesn't Have the Most F-Bombs in Movie History, But It's Up There
Adam Sandler, Mesfin Lamengo, Sun Zhi Hua-Hilton, and LaKeith Stanfield in Diamanti grezzi (2019)
Uncut Gems has just earned the record for seventh highest amount of F-bombs in a movie. The Adam Sandler-starring movie has been getting a lot of attention over the past several weeks. There's even talk of Sandler receiving his first-ever Academy Award nomination, which caught the actor/comedian by surprise. He has joked that his next movie will be intentionally bad if the Academy decides not to recognize his performance in Uncut Gems. Even if he doesn't make it to the Oscars, the movie is now in rare territory thanks to the F word.

The F-Bomb is used 408 times in Uncut Gems. This is pretty notable because the movie is only 135 minutes-long. If you're into statistics, that comes out to about one F word every three minutes, which is pretty impressive. The movie just opened in theaters nationwide on Christmas Day after being in select theaters. It found itself...

The New Red-Band Total Frat Movie Trailer Is Totally Bonkers
Growing up in an era of raunchy coming-of-age college comedy hits like Animal House, Van Wilder and those of the American Pie franchise, you'd think you would have seen it all, if not most. Well, leave it to Swearnet: The Movie helmer Warren P. Sonoda to prove you wrong thanks in large part to the eponymous new comedy, Total Frat Movie, inspired by the stories from the very lifestyle website of the same name. Charlie Martin couldn’t be happier to be the newest member of Alpha Chi Gamma. That is, until the rival Kappas sabotage their celebratory fireworks and the Alpha house is permanently shuttered. Just like that, Charlie’s dream of following in his late father’s footsteps, one of Alpha’s most legendary members, goes up...

Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool (2016)
How Many Times Does 'Deadpool' Drop the F Bomb?
Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool (2016)
It's not everyday that a superhero comes along dropping F bombs like it's his super power, but Deadpool is different than your run of the mill comic book movie. And it's one of the few to ever arrive in theaters with a hard R rating. The movie certainly earns that distinction, as it is a vulgar, violent carnival of thrills and adventure. But just how over the top does Wade Wilson go with his colorful use of the English language? Pretty far, as it turns out. The watchdog advocacy group Kids in Mind has decided to tally all of the filthy language, giving us a good run down of exactly what was said, and how many times certain words were uttered by the devilish characters in this one-of-a-kind outing.

What may surprise you is that Deadpool doesn't even come close to breaking the record for the use of the F word.

Specialty Box Office Preview: James Gandolfini’s ‘The Drop’, ‘The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby: Them’, More
James Gandolfini and Tom Hardy in Chi è senza colpa (2014)
The upcoming weekend boasts an onslaught of new Specialty titles vying for audiences. In all likelihood, however, many will have a short big screen life as the fall’s awards contenders ramp up and crowd others out. Five of this week’s dozen-plus newcomers are spotlighted here with Fox Searchlight’s The Drop edging on a wide release. The feature starring Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace and James Gandolfini will bow in over 800 theaters. TWC’s The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby also joins the fray with a platform release. The film also has two accompanying titles told from the perspective of its two main characters, which will be released in more limited runs in October. Magnolia will open its thriller Honeymoon in a day and date release while Dada Films’ Swearnet: The Movie breaks a movie record with the most F-bombs ever. And Cohen Media Group’s My Old Lady bowed Wednesday in limited release.

A New “TomKat” in the Making?
To celebrate his 41st birthday, Tom Green took Kat Von D to the movies Tuesday (July 30) in Hollywood.

Could tattoo artist Von D be looking for love again? She just ended her engagement to DJ Deadmau5 (Joel Zimmerman), recently Tweeting, “Man I’m a Fool.” Rumors were rampant that the Canadian music producer had been unfaithful.

The former star of the reality show “L.A. Ink” was also once set to marry Sandra Bullock’s cheating ex, Jesse James. She previously dated Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx and was wed to Oliver Peck from 2003 to 2007.

Actor/comic Green’s best-known relationship was his short-lived marriage to Drew Barrymore. They divorced in 2002. He’s also been linked to adult film actress Mary Carey, the late actress Brittany Murphy, and soap star Heidi Mueller.

Von D (born Katherine von Drachenberg) is busy promoting her make-up line at Sephora; Green will next star in “Swearnet: The Movie.
