In giro per il mondo con Timon & Pumbaa

Cashing in on the success of side characters Timon and Pumbaa in 'The Lion King', Disney came up with a Saturday morning cartoon with them as the leads.

Episodes of this were then packaged together with some linking material and released on video/DVD.

It's fine enough, and no doubt will appeal to young children especially.

Some liberties are taken with the characters and the humour is certainly broader though.

As it is all cobbled together, you can also clearly tell the sections where it's Nathan Lane voicing Timon and when it's not.

Fine enough though.
