My First Horror Film

We're more than used to how found footage works by now: a lot of setup, leading to the payoff. What we get with My First Horror Movie is talking. A lot of talking. A WHOLE lot of talking. About pretty much nothing at all. It feels like the cast has been told to talk as much as possible to stretch the runtime. There are attempts to make this a horror comedy. At least there are alleged jokes that are setup, only to fall completely flat. The horror is nearly nonexistent, with the vast majority of everything happening off camera. The bottom line is, this is an amateurish film that had some promise. Sadly, that slight promise is far from realized.
