It reminded me of "A Walk to Remember" and "Where the Red Fern Grows." Really!
I was gripped by the gentle, well I told story from moment one. This is a "put down your cell phone, you don't want to miss a moment" movies.
If you don't get it or think it is trite, then you were probably the bully character Hunter.
I love Pablo Screiber the older (Conrad) I wish he was in it a bit more although his other roles are amazing! Anyway though All Summers End is a wonderful story about a prank gone awry and (Conrad) falls in love Kaitlin Denvers character Grace which is heartwarmingly well done. Austin Abrams (Hunter) is a frustrating character to the story that I guess you could say is the villain of the film.
Movie style like Now & Then, Stand By Me, etc....
A very touching movie about young teens summer romance, but it had a twist I never saw coming. I won't give it away, but I will say it's worth the watch.

This isn't your typical teen movie. It has a darker and more serious tone, which makes it leagues above other fare in its genre.
Tye Sheridan stars as Conrad, a 16 y/o who on a night out with his friends takes part in a prank which has serious consequences. Conrad and his friends make some bad decisions by leaving the scene.
The remainder of the movie deals with Conrad's conscience weighing heavily on him over the decisions he made over the prank. These decisions haunt him even after he comes clean.
A good movie dealing with coming of age issues.

All of us have suffered consequences in life for our actions, some good and some not so good!! This is a story of growing up and making a mistake then having to live with the repercussions! My Dad always used to say you reap what you sow, well this is a prime example of that. I won't give the story away as I will let it develop for you if you choose to watch it. Lately I have been watching movies with Tye Sheridan in, as I think he is a great young talent and upcoming actor. This movie at times was really tough to watch not because of bad acting or a totally bad storyline, but just because life can be tough on us all. At times the story made me cringe and even though I hadn't done anything of this magnitude, I still made some life choices that I wish I could go back and change, as we all have. I thought that Tye Sheridan and Kaitlyn Dever carried this movie. I would have rated it even higher, but thought something was lost by not exploring more of the parent's lives and how they handled tragedy in their own lives. Again seems like most of the movie was carried on the young actor's and actress's shoulders. Still overall I felt a decent movie and one that is worth watching!
