Shout! TV’s “Trail of Destruction” will feature four natural disaster miniseries airing for 24 hours on Friday, July 19. Face off against twisters, earthquakes, volcanoes, global warming, and more in a marathon of catastrophic proportions. We’ll be hunkering down to watch 10.5 Apocalypse, Category 7: End of the World, Cat 8, and Ring of Fire featuring stars like Shannen Doherty, Matthew Modine, Michael Vartan, and Garcelle Beauvais.

To celebrate “Trail of Destruction,” we’re giving away a copy of Irwin Allen: Master of Disaster Collection, courtesy of Shout! Studios. One (1) winner will be selected at random.

The CW is planning a spin-off of Supernatural. Generally, I like the idea of a spin-off but it’s my least favorite kind: a backdoor pilot spin-off focusing on an a character we haven’t met yet. That character that will be introduced in the 20th episode of the upcoming season. Isn’t there enough depth to the Supernatural universe to create a series around an established character? I liked Christian Campbell‘s character — and the idea of Christian Campbell in a TV series with no awkward facial hair. On a more exciting note, Felicia Day will return as lesbian nerd Charlie.

I thought they’d make a fun spin-off when the episode originally aired.

It will be a year filled with epic disasters when ReelzChannel airs the U.S. premiere of five original miniseries from Sonar's Disaster Pack collection. Catch each of the four-hour miniseries as they depict shocking end-of-the-world scenarios. The series will include include Cat. 8 starring Emmy Award nominee Matthew Modine (The Dark Knight Rises, Weeds), Ring of Fire starring Emmy Award winner Terry O’Quinn (Hawaii Five-o, Lost), Delete starring Emmy Award winner Seth Green (Family Guy), Eve of Destruction starring Emmy Award and Golden Globe nominee Treat Williams (White Collar) and Exploding Sun starring David James Elliott (Jag) and Emmy Award winner Julia Ormond.
