The Exterminator: Don Teschio's Revenge

Do you remember when movies were made just to be movies, and not to push political agendas? Do you remember when movies where meant to be fun, and not lessons? Do you remember when action movies had a semblance of depth and were not just reliant on CGI?

And so do the makers of The Exterminator franchise, so these movies are pure gold in a short format.

Just good solid action movies that took the time to build character and create interesting stories. The Exterminator Don Teschio´s Revenge is not 2 hours of people getting their head blown off but there´s a lot of killing.

I was pleasantly surprised at how patient the film is, how it builds its story to what I found to be a gripping end.

But it´s just the end of this movie not the franchise, that after credits scenes was intense.

And Don Teschio's Revenge is finally here! And it packs a punch! Action filled from start to end!

The Exterminator continues to wipe out Don Teschio's operations and men until a new player is called into the field!

We finally have a debut of Skeleton (Esqueleto from the series 'A Última Presa' by Constantino as well) and he does what he is hired to do with a very big bang and panache!

Miguel D. Dias brings both Don Teschio and Skeleton to live in his very own way and it is amazing to watch him interact with himself!

Congrats to team Constantino and team Last Road Studios for yet another awesome film!

This movie is a pleasent surprise because it remembers the times of the exploitation cinema.

The violence is not too heavy but heavy enough to shock the mainstream audience.

Director Rui Constantino brings on the goods again, by giving us a movie that tell us that when the exterminator goes out to make criminals pay, you better run or ask forgiveness, or you will be dead soon.

Now for the bad guys, this time we have 3 main guys and the rest are soldiers, but with heavy weapons.

The only returning actor is the guy who plays the mob boss, the other two are new.

Good adiction of these two, because they bring something fresh to the film.

The finale is a complete hell, and it´s filled with death all around.

For me it´s a 9.

A good sequel to last year´s effort to revive the exterminator franchise, this one brings new elements and also brings in a new character skeleton.

This guy has a voice like the joker from the injustice games he sounds like Mark Hamill, whenever he spoke i was seeing and hearing the joker, and it´s so cool.

We also have Don Teschio back doing all his stuff giving orders, we get to finally see Canelli, and they have a really good conversation with a real sense of power to it, and loss.

The exterminator now has a girlfriend, but bad things will happen to both, i don´t want to spoil the good stuff, but the movie ends on a cliffhanger, and i am anxious to see what´s coming up next.

This follows the same path, of a man pushed over the edge by some ruthless crime lord and his goons, the pacing and well-staged chase sequences are spot on and the film has a vibe of realism which makes it more than viewable. It also concentrates too much on the violence displayed on screen than anything else, there´s torture, executions and shooting mayhem.

Although the plot will be largely familiar to anybody who has ever seen a 'vigilante' movie, the story keeps on moving and is careful to stick with characterisation at the expense of action, turning it into something more than another blood-and-bullets high-octane thriller.
