The AMC Networks March 2025 schedule has been announced and includes the return of lauded noir thriller Dark Winds, starring Zahn McLarnon, and the season finale of AMC’s Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches, starring Alexandra Daddario.

The lineup also includes the premiere of The Last Anniversary, the new Liane Moriarty adaptation starring Teresa Palmer (A Discovery of Witches) and Miranda Richardson on AMC+ and Sundance Now, and the return of Acorn TV’s Recipes for Love and Murder, starring Maria Doyle Kennedy and Kylie Fisher.

2024 was one of the best years in memory for the Western genre. There were excellent and accurate Westerns like The Dead Don't Hurt, The Settlers, and The Thicket, expensive, bloated epics like Horizon: An American Saga, fun genre-benders like The Last Stop at Yuma County and Place of Bones, and interesting true stories like End of the Rope and The Night They Came Home. It seems like the trend is continuing, with the first great series of 2025 being a barn-storming historical Western with unforgettable performances. The Night They Came Home is a western offering that is a pretty good recycling of several classic themes from the oaters of yesteryear. Russo, who continues to work in the entertainment industry to this day. Russo has written and directed multiple films, and has also written a whole lot of novels.
