Ce n'est pas un film de cow-boys

I think I'd rather watch 'Brokeback Mountain' if I'm honest, but it is actually quite a cute film. Clever and quirky.

Although it has no specific suggestion that the characters are gay, it's nice to think that this conversation might be the taller boys way of coming out or suggesting that he knows the other one is gay and that he's fine with it.

It deals with homosexuality without clarifying it within any of the characters, but also leaves it open to be so. It also shows at least four young people that aren't homophobic and are the future of our world.

Using, as pretext, a provocative film , Parent explore, in fine, delicate and precise way, the universe of teenagers. The friendship, the impressions, the questions, the jokes, the tension. Admirable acting, seductive craft of story. Short, more than nice.
