I watch a lot of anime of all genres. This is one the best ones I've ever seen! I loved it so much I wish I could find more information about the Author. It keeps you at the edge of your seat. So incredibly well written. If you like incredibly tense narratives and complex/morally grey characters then this will be right up your alley. Shocked that this is so low rated here and on MyAnimeList. Binged the whole thing in a day. Here are some other animes that I gave a 10/10 to, is there might be a chance that if you enjoyed these, you might like My Home Hero on the chance that we may have similar tastes; Death Note, Parasite, Your Lie In April, Erased, Psycho-Pass, Higurashi, Devilman Crybaby, Shiki.

My Home Hero is a nerve-wracking thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. The plot is fresh, full of unexpected twists, and really captures the lengths a parent will go to protect their family. Every episode kept me tense, wondering what would happen next. The story is definitely a standout.

What makes this show truly one of a kind is its unique plot. We don't often see a middle-aged father using his life intelligence to outsmart and fight back against the Yakuzas. It's refreshing and adds a level of realism. Even more compelling is the teamwork between the main character and his wife, who stands by his side and shares his mindset. Together, they make an incredible combination that adds depth and tension to the story.

That being said, the animation could use some improvement. While the plot is top-notch, the animation quality feels a bit mediocre in comparison, and doesn't quite do justice to the show's excellent storyline. Overall, a very nice show worth watching for its gripping plot!
