When I think of a movie, I would call this a horror and not a thriller since the ending doesn't actually clear anything up. My head hurts trying to think wrap my mind around what I've just seen. It was potentially a great movie. I somewhat enjoyed it but at the same time I wanted to stop watching it when it came to certain scenes that just screamed out that they weren't real life but I needed the resolution in the end which did not actually come. There would be a scene where I would just ask myself where it was going and I was only on the edge of my seat because I wanted to know what was going on. Other times I was on the edge of my seat because it was actually pretty good. I'm sorry if my review doesn't make complete sense, my mind is still tumbling around my head because of this movie.

This is a thriller in the vein of Stephen King about an author who starts to lose his grasp on reality. The thin line between fact and fiction starts to blur and as viewers we're left to sort out the writer's process from the ever-increasing body count. How far does one go for the sake of art? Or is the art becoming reality? Moreover, By Deception explores the confidence of a writer. When things are going well and the ideas flow, life is beautiful. But when the words don't come, the struggle is real and things can turn into a waking nightmare. The cinematography by Adio Ash is impeccable with a stand out performance by Katie Loftus.

It's so so so so baaaadddd! It should never have been made. This is the worst acting and plot that I've ever seen since birth. How did this get produced?? Or get funding? Are there no standards anymore? No logic? It's also quite confusing and extremely irritating. I wondered why only 900 people had watched it since 2022; now I know - there was a secret group that warned everyone about the whole horror that this movie is and I didn't know. I wish I had not bothered! Couldn't finish had to save myself. Decided to save my sanity. Take a nap instead. Don't waste your time. This needed to be recalled.

So we just seen this with my friends and we were all on the edge of our seats. I'm impressed! Lots of popular faces in this film so they did a good job with the right casting and unlike many other films this one didn't drag out to the end. Lots of good plot twists and surprises. Well edited and quality cinematography. It's a great weekend movie to watch if your into the thriller genre. I hope thriller films like this get the recognition they deserve and even if your not into this genre it's totally worth the watch purely for the entertainment. I' giving this a 8! One of the better thriller movies I've seen this year.
