Darren Aronofsky meets David Lynch! I love twisted, yet smart psychological thrillers and Fractured satisfies! Adam Gierasch directs his talented cast adeptly thru the mire of horrific, intriguing, and shockingly raw scenes. The cast plays each scene with an emotional and artistic freedom that truly impresses. There are many so called "shock value" scenes, but I believe, given the movie's subject matter, this gritty reality jolts the viewer into an emotional response. I also loved the cinematography, no airbrushing or heavy make-up...real people! Beautiful people not afraid to be uninhibited. In my opinion, this is the mark of a well made movie!
The cinematography was decent but the writing and/or directing was weak. The plot devices felt obvious and predictable. The situations in the story seemed contrived and I had a hard time believing that the characters had motivation to warrant their actions/reactions to events - giving many of the dramatic scenes an unintended comic effect. I almost never stop watching a movie I've invested more than 30 minutes in, so I watched until the end yet I felt my time could have been better spent.
Why does the movie poster feature a relatively minor character? Is it because the lead actor is not as well known? The actor featured in the ad is somewhat recognizable even though he has a relatively small part. That seems misleading and unfair. I was actually quite impressed with the lead's performance - especially considering that some of his dialogue was, in my opinion, very poorly written, and probably a challenge to deliver. Other performances in the movie were unremarkable.

Fractured is a psychological horror movie directed by Adam Gierasch and stars Callum Blue, Vinnie Jones and Ashlynn Yennie.
This movie should be taught as a lesson on how to spoil a good script with bad writing and poor character development, this movie isn't spoiled by these two factors but also by some poor screenplay and some bad acting.
As mentioned earlier the plot of the movie is nice and had good scope to transform the movie into a great psychological horror movie but is ruined by over ambitious director who I think couldn't handle such plot.
The acting department also disappoints. Callum Blue looked lost throughout the movie. Vinnie Jones was impressive but couldn't get much screen space. Ashlynn was kept only to add some eroticism to the dead movie.
Screenplay of the movie is boring and couldn't hold the script for Long some of the scenes were there without any purpose and couldn't be omitted on the editing table. Climax is senseless and bad. Cinematography is also bad.
Although this movie is psychological horror by it's genre but for me it's a big disappointment, please avoid the movie.

Review: Man, this film was awful! I lost interest in the movie after watching a couple of minutes of the main character walking around daydreaming. I haven't got a clue about what was happening from one scene to the next and I gave up trying to work out the plot. The acting was terrible, along with the whole dark theme which made the movie even harder to follow. I think you can tell that I really didn't enjoy this film and I found it a complete waste of time. Rubbish!
Round-Up: I haven't got a clue why the distributors decided to stick Vinnie Jones's face all over the poster because he isn't really in it. The guy who plays the main character was a bad choice by the director because his style of acting was boring and pretty dead. Even when the whole plot unfolds at the end, it still is a really badly made movie which was over complicated and totally crap.
I recommend this movie to people who are into there psychological dramas about a man who wakes up out of a coma with no idea about who he is. 1/10

I went into this, film with 0 expectations and I'm so glad I watched it. It's dark (in more ways than one), creepy, it keeps you on your toes and has the perfect amount of gore to up the cringe factor. The acting, writing and directing was not disappointing. It was a very pleasant surprise. I would definitely recommend this film especially, if you enjoyed films like Memento, Devils Advocate and Angel Heart. The story line is in the same ballpark of those 3 films but, definitely not a copy.
