Doorslag

Doorslag, is one of the most thought provoking and addictive short films, I have seen. It uses real human emotion and excellent cinematography, to entice the over all mood and will throw audiences, into an alluring tale, of deceit and murder.

Very few films, exhibit a richly undertaking and intelligent premise, these days. More or less, I see remakes and old concepts, dusted off and marketed in a different package. This film, has a very unique and enviable style, that I wish more writers and directors would use. In closing, Bastiaan Rook, is definitely a film maker, everyone should keep an eye on.
