Perfidia

Wow this is one bad pretentious piece of garbage. Endless scenes of mirror staring marked by a stoopid plot and hugely bad directing. You will be bored out of your mind.

BTW, the English subtitled version is called Wicked Woods. It should have been titled "Boring Garbage."

I like watching movies in Spanish with English subtitles, as it makes me think I am learning Spanish. But this movie is the silliest horror movie I have ever watched. It has a lot of opera music playing in the background which just sounds pretentious. It makes (some) sense until about halfway in, when it just descends into the two leads running around the forest, and shots of trees and the ground. I should have been warned going in, hopefully this review will warn someone, I wish someone had warned me. Huge waste of time, I can't believe I watched this turd to the end.

Who is giving those people budgets to do something so completely out of the universe? Slow-paced till the end. Scene after scene without anything to happen. Dialogs written by a five year old. A story that goes nowhere. A stagy opera house soundtrack of death to make the non existing atmosphere even worse. Literally no acting. I can't even form correct sentences for this piece of film history. Why are there so many directors out there thinking they are managing to make movies. Of course some of you will call it art! It has to be art! We just can't see the meta level here! What does the maker of this film wanna say to us??? Yeah dig deep into it, he he you will find a big one...cheezus...

This movie is really tough to watch. Not because of the effects (they are more than decent for a low budget movie), nor for the performances (though they may seem a bit off at times). The latter plays into the really out there idea of the movie. And that might be the one thing that makes this not relatable to most.

It's tough to root for someone, especially in a crazy story like this. You'll either find this intriguing and interesting and worthwhile or boring and annoying. The movie is definitely decent and well made though and might help a bit. And if you care one way or the other, there is nudity in this. Try to watch with an open mind, but remember, you might have to watch it again to get some of the things the movie is trying to tell us ...

I watched this having not read any reviews, in hindsight, maybe i should have. This film looked decent enough at the start but what i found, is this film lacked quite a lot of things.

The characters were not likable, and the acting wasn't that great. The storyline was terribly weak and that lead me to not caring what actually happened to them.

There was no special effects, which isn't everything but there was no real suspense and just as you think something is about to happen ..... it doesn't.

Oh and the music was a tad too much.

I think who ever made this film wanted something a bit Blair witch in its simplicity but failed sadly.

The gist of the film, who knows... a love story? There are random people turning up in the woods trying to look menacing, a bit of nakedness at some point. Lots of running around the same spot of trees hoping we wouldn't notice and 1 hour and 11 minutes of my life i wont get back!

I love watching international films and i this one sadly isn't that great.
