I have watch second time this movie.. Awesome screenplay with soo many twist and each and every scene with seat edge thrilling moments...i can say that most underrated director is santhakumar in tamil cinema...protogonist arulnithi acted soo well and others acted soo naturally...especially in encounter scene is awesome while watching our heart beat can hear ourself..

this is my first review.So, if i have said anything wrongly please forgive me.The review is about the movie Mounaguru.Mounaguru is the first movie for the director santha kumar.But it doesn't seems like his first movie.

Arulnidhi acts as a college student in the movie.he perfectly fits for the role.No overactings,he does his work perfect.Big plus for the movie is its screenplay.Editing,BGM score and all are well fitted for the movie.Iniya comes as a medical college student.She also acted good. Main hero of the movie is its story.The director gave Beautiful life for the Beautiful story. John vijay who acts as villain gives us a face of a brutal cop.He gives his best to fit the role.Movie also has twists,small characters in between.All have performed well.Surely this movie is going to be one of the best movies of 2011. Kudos to whole mounaguru team.

The film is a wonderful thriller in the history of Tamil Cinema.

The performance of all the actors were good, especially those of Uma Riyaz Khan and Arulnidhi.

With this film, I would definitely say that Arulnidhi has a good future.

No one would ever believe that this is Santha Kumar's debut film. He has done the film with perfection.

Camera by Mahesh Muthuswami was decent. Music by Thaman could have been better.

Another excellent world class movie from Tamil, a south Indian language. The screenplay push audience to end of seat and no-guess what is next. It totally different from normal Tamil movie formula.

I could compare this movie with "Taken", both keep audience in tight control throughout movie and you also travel with screenplay and expect some positive things will happen on each frame. Directory mix love story also in normal fashion manner with out any heroism hype, fights and songs.

Most of people may miss another hidden story of this Film, How country side mothers treated in City when her son more align with girls family. Nice touching and true one. I like this.

Excellent try by director and team, they succeed it. Looking forward this kind of quality movies.

Well where to start. This movie just went beyond expectations. Even if you remove 1 single character from the movie, this movie will collapse.

A car with some cash meets with an accident. 4 cops steal the money. The conversation is recorded in an handycam. The handycam is also stolen.

Now all these verticals points to the protagonist who is an innocent college student. He is always surrounded by controversies and unnecessary fights out of his control. Everyone uses him as a bait to cover up their mistakes. Arulnidhi studied the character and gave his 100% involvement for this character.

This movie is a reality because this is what happens to anyone who gets caught to the people with power. Though some of them are good, others won't let them to be good.

The climax is soo satisfying because anyways your life is spoiled without doing any mistake. Then why not do that mistake?

Iniya's character could have been better. She is a doctor and they're injecting drug to him infront of her she doesn't even care to ask what injection. She could've asked what treatment is going on and why they're keeping him under drugs? But she just walks here and there. Only place she was useful was when she finds him in the mental asylum.

Babu character makes so much sense in the movie. He talks politics, he hides and opens jail locks, he gives clues, talks english but he's at the mental asylum. This shows how cruel others are to him.

Uma Riyaz delivers her performance. Being a good person and staying helpless is such a pain. She delivered it well.

Dialogues are soo lit in this movie. I can't find any mistakes or logic hole in this movie. You'll feel little disturbed that the world is soo cruel. Also you'll feel blessed that you're living a far better life than many people.
