It's so often the way, the young want to flee the nest where they've been nurtured for so long. A life stretching out in front of them with one older person is too much to bear. That's the scenario we are presented with here.

Paolo is desperate for "one last night" when he returns from work to see his younger lover about to leave. An accident and an injury seem to make this possible - but did it really happen? There's a twist that I actually like, in contrast to a previous reviewer.

Paolo is stuck in the past, condemned to relive an event that is either memory or imagination. We don't know which it is and that's the beauty of the film.

This film is about a man finding his boyfriend leaving him, when he returns home from work.

"Una Notte Ancora" is an interesting short. In a short amount of time, it successfully engages viewers. It invites people to feel the pain of the man who comes home to find his boyfriend leaving him. After some standard relationship saving moves, a surprise twist comes. Though I am not a fan of this particular twist, it is still a good story with a high level of engagement with viewers.

Together with the nice set, clear camera work and good lighting, "Una Notte Ancora" is a nice short film.

prisoner of a moment, pain or past. a man. and his boyfriend. the end moment of relationship. and the surprising cure. a film about expectation. and about the answer to the fear to be alone. nothing new. or original. surely useful. because it is one of the films about its public. direct, gentle and precise. nothing surprising. nothing unexpected. but a deep search in yourself. and this is the source of seduction of a film about nothing, remembering the flavor of a poetry.
