The sweet, delicate poetry. This is the basic virtue of this seductive short film about two friends in a remote cabin and a game of genres who define each of them in precise - fair manner.

A short film provocative - charming for atmosphere and for the inspired performances , for wise craft of metamorphosis, for simple gestures and inspired sustained by cinematography.

Like many poems, Thaw offers not exactly a story but a serious ball of emotions. The androgenity of Jack Petersen , Caitlin Cobb - Vialet reminding Romane Bohringer in Les nuits fauves are main virtues of this admirable short film.
