Amol Kolhe had taken it upon himself to demonstrate what a movie based on the life of a king like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj must be like, and he has succeeded in setting the bar high for future movies based on the life of Maharaj.

The cinematography, done by Sanjay Jadhav, could not have been better as each scene in the movie leaves an indelible visual imprint on the audience's minds. The background score (created by Shashank Powar and Rohit Nagbhide) plays an important role in enhancing the emotions portrayed on screen by the actors (and is one of the major reasons why the movie manages to enthrall the audience!).

Lastly, Kartik Kendhe's direction has ensured that the story flows seamlessly from one scene to another.

Historical movies are generally notorious for over-dramatizing and exaggerating the fight scenes but this movie has nothing of that sort and every scene feels about as realistic as it would have played out in real life.

The movie is a fitting tribute to an exemplary king, and must be watched by those willing to know the real Maratha history.

This famous story is known to everyone who has studied Indian history and it fills us with pride everytime we read it.

As far as the movie is concerned, it is the brilliance of Dr. Anmol Kolhe as Shivaji and Yatin Karyakar as Aurangzeb which are the main highlights. The passion & intensity with which they have portrayed their respective characters is a treat to the eyes. Others in the cast, Pratiksha Lonkar, Shailesh Datar & Harish Dudhade have also given an earnest performance

Dialogues and scenes have been well written and the magic shows on screen. Music too is good and compliments the narrative perfectly.

One area where the movie falters is the VFX, could have been better. Maybe due to budget constraints.

However if you are willing to overlook this one aspect. Shivpratap Garudjhep is a very good film to watch in theatres!! Go for it ...Jai Bhavani.. Jai Shivaji 🙏🙏

Must watch movie for story, screenplay, direction, acting and for awesome writing and dialogues!!

All the actors, artist performed very very well, screenplay along with background score makes a magic....its all about story telling, very well written and executed dialogues, team efforts.

First half was superb, that scene was soo sooo soooo awesome when shivaji maharaj meets aurangajeb at agra...background, acting, yatin sir acting speaking through his eyes and amol sir dialogues with an heart touching impact makes it abosolute delightful and speechless...everyone must watch this movie...this movie is all about emotions, connectivity, passion and many more... !! Absolutely absolutely fantastic !!
