One of the best K-drama I've ever watched . First 11 episodes are literally breathtaking & full of suspense but ending could be better. I must admit Lee jung-suk & Kim joo hun's acting was mind blowing. They played their character perfectly. Other important characters like Female lead ,Jerry, Director juhee & Gong jihoon were good too. Ending of former Big-Mouse wasn't as great as it was showed in the drama. How come a mafia king like big mouse would die like a street dog!! He had no security, no bodyguards? There were some incomplete plots too otherwise this drama is really good. I'm literally impressed with story, VFx, acting & music. Love this drama...
"Lee Jong suk" the actor that never fails to entertain us with his masterclass acting and must say what an acting by Yoona she indeed worked hard for this drama. The cast are too perfect for their specific roles. Anyone hesitating to watch this drama, please do try it's just perfect in my opinion ( I have been watching K-drama since 3 year just for your clarification). Every episode has its own impact and full of logical suspension.
If you've watched Game of Thrones, you know what the title means.
This drama has so much potential to be the best I've watched that are about gangster and shi. So many plot twists that could hype you up UNTIL they rushed the ending. Last episode ended with so much mess that it hadn't sank in me yet that the series already ended. No closure at all. Like I questioned myself, "What the hell? Is that it?". It's like I just wasted my time watching it. So many plot holes that are not resolved in the conclusion. It's the writers fault that they introduced so much characters that they don't even tend to explain and finish their story. Props to the actors tho especially to the main villain that you will hate so much. Would rate this as 4 but I love the casts' acting so I added 2 lol. But if someone ask me if I would vouch for this series, I wouldn't recommend this to them. Ending's just not worth it.

I would have waited until the whole drama had aired, and maybe not even reviewed it all, but the 10 or so gushing reviews so far prompted me to say something after episode 12.
I get that ladies love LJS (and I am one of them) but he wants to be known for his work as a good actor, and not just to be uncritically promoted by his fans in incoherent posts that praise everything he does. Ditto for the Yoona fans who get together and bombard every platform with positive messages. This is a review section not a fan wall.
Yes it's fun guessing who Big Mouse is, and events move fast with a lot of twists and turns, but just as with sleight of hand and card tricks, sometimes so fast it disguises improbable plot progression and also attempts to hide the holes. With four episodes to go, it's all action and no explanation, lots of icing and maybe less cake than expected. Viewers are put in the position of having to accept this or abandon the ability to suspend disbelief and start asking awkward questions instead.
The acting across the board is very good with compelling performances by Kim Joo-hun as the dodgy Mayor Choi and Yang Kyung-won as the over-the-top media king Gong Ji-hoon. With an overwhelmingly male cast, the handful of females manage to hold their own, and Lim Yoo-na does a decent job. However the acting honours go to LJS, whose performance as Park Chang-ho holds the whole thing together.
The speed at which events travel, the constant ups and downs of just about every character, is slick but exhausting. I may return to this review when I've finished the whole series and I hope it manages to keep all the balls in the air until the very end. For now, I could wish for more sense and less sensation, but let's see how it goes.

TBH I can into this show with low expectations. Starts off just like typical dramas, but boy, do the plot twists blow you mind and have you applauding. The actors are great too. You find yourself running home to see the next episode. Of courses there are great performances to pull all this off.
If you do get past the first half of the first episode you will be hooked, rooting for the characters.
They should also do a western remake of this.
This is an unexpected joy. A masterpiece.
