So I watched all episodes in one sitting and while there are a few new concepts, nothing really new to show the public. To me it was another way to sell some merch while leaving me with nothing more than "why did I just spend a few hours watching another DB Cooper documentary"??? Is it well made? Yeah not bad. They clearly spent some cash and time on the series but really didn't give us anything new to ponder on. Sorry Netflix not gonna cut the mustard... Let's try it again for the 60 year anniversary cause we all know this probably won't get solved...
To start, some aspects of this documentary are indeed well-made. I actually enjoyed this series but for reasons entirely different than the idea that Tom Colbert "uncovered" the identity of D. B. Cooper.
This show highlights how obsessions and conspiracy theories can twist people into being... some kind of parody of themselves? How it can lead these kinds of people into harassing others?
It showcases how Tom Landry, a truly bizarre guy in denial over hearing the words "I'm not D. B. Cooper," from his person of interest, continues to reject reality.
It's pretty disturbing but entertaining to see how someone can distort all the facts running counter to their beliefs, in order to make them conform to their delusions.
Don't recommend watching this, unless you'll enjoy watching someone delude themselves?

Colbert is insufferable to watch, stubborn conspiracy theorist with tunnel vision. Unfortunately I'm sure he got paid for this. Wish they focused more the other theories.
In November 1971, an audacious man hijacks a plane, and escapes with a fortune using a parachute.
I'll be honest, I was enthralled by episode one, the story itself is fascinating, romantic and bold, almost James Bond like, however, episodes two, three and four, offer nothing, other than conspiracy theories, it's such a huge disappointment.
Very slick visuals, good music, but ultimately the series is vacuous, it's all just window dressing.
I loathed the way that Rackstraw was hounded and pursued. He had a checkered past, but I was not ok seeing a man of advanced years treated in such a way.
Some of those interviewed here, I actually felt a little sorry for, worryingly obsessed, the kind of people that see conspiracies in every corner. I think it's plain to see there are some very unhealthy obsessions at play here. Coopercon, I think my jaw dropped. If that's your thing, you may enjoy it, some of the opinions expressed were a little embarrassing.

I cannot believe this case has its own four episode series. They add no new information. They hound this man trying to get him to admit that he was DB Cooper. Meanwhile he just wants to be left alone and is clearly messing with investigators. News flash: it's been 50 years. The man is dead. They delve deep into conspiracy and government cover ups but in all likelihood, no one in the government cares about 250k that was stolen in the 70s. Do not watch. Waste of time.
