This was one the worst films I saw in years. It's title is misleading to those unfamiliar with the Gashashim, an Israeli comedian trio. The movie would have benefited from a different title in English. There are a handful of funny moments, but this is not a comedy, but tragedy over tragedy which add up to an unbelievable list of events to have struck one family and some people around them. It is quantity, not quality. It is to shock, not to make you think or feel. There is no subtlety, or understanding of life, not even of art. Parts of the stories come together in a story-writing class where amateurs make up stories often based on their own lives. And I couldn't help thinking that the director of this film graduated from there.
