Conjuring: The Beyond

I am a die hard horror fan. I watch nothing but scary stuff. And i liked the conjuring movies. I wouldn't consider them scary. But, no complaints. But this, this awful movie. I was so hopeful. But i could barely sit through this. The acting was awful and the story was awful. Nightmares and sleep paralysis are a real part of my life every night when i sleep due to my own mental problems and it was so hard to watch this movie. I wanted to turn it off many times and I didn't, only because i paid a few bucks to watch it. Don't waste your money. I actually signed up and made an account just to post this. Don't watch.

This movie is even worse than all the other Conjuring movies, it feels like they had to cut back on the budget with this movie so they made it like a home shot movie. The scenes are way too long, boring and terribly acted, it is more fake than fake. The whole point of the story line is still unclear for what they were going for, it is very messy and boring.

Especially near the ending of the movie it seems like the acting got worse, so did the make-up and editing, The story does not line up, the scenes are too long but yet the lack so much information, which makes it hard to understand what it´s about.

Don´t waste your precious time on watching this horrendous movie.

Don't know, if the director was on his phone while shooting or something went wrong in editing, but this movie has far to long scenes.

It starts off with a mildly creepy scene, but after that it becomes hard to watch. Maybe they wanted to build suspense or something, but it just doesn't work well, if almost every scene feels to long. The viewer shouldn't notice the cuts, but in this case, the missing cuts are very noticable.

I watched this to fall asleep, so I won't complain to much. For that it worked well. This should be the end of my review, but since they require more characters, I'll keep going for a bit. This is also very fitting for this movie.

These people stole the name Conjuring just to get eye balls on this piece of garbage film. It is the slowest, most poorly acted, piece of garbage ever to be put out as a movie. I am a huge horror fan and can put up with a ton of garbage but this is utter trash. I get it. You have no idea what you're doing so just steal a name and go for it. At least try. I can't fathom how anyone in this movie called their family and said "I'm doing it!" or "I landed a part in an actual movie". For their follow up might I recommend "The Amityville Conjuring, a Child at Play on Elm Street on a Sinister Friday the 13th....... Ouija!!

So I'm 30 minutes into the movie and besides the terribly boring and bad 10 minute intro discussion between some girl and someone you assume to be a family member, maybe a father? I don't know, it wasn't explained and wasn't clear. But nothing has happened so far.

I gave it another 10 minutes and still nothing interesting has happened. It's all just been talking about the sleep study they're supposed to be doing, but literally NOTHING has happened. Just people sitting around talking to each other. Insanely slow and I have to wonder if the positive reviews are confusing this movie with a different Conjuring movie since there are multiple, but this is not affiliated with that movie.

I can't keep going... it's just so incredibly boring. If nothing happens in the first 40 minutes of your film, you're doing something wrong. Save yourself an hour and a half and pick a different movie.
