Colorado Christmas

I recently watched Colorado Christmas and, to put it bluntly, it was a struggle from start to finish. The acting was abysmal; it felt like the cast was reading their lines for the first time, lacking any genuine emotion or connection. The poor direction only exacerbated the situation, making each scene feel disjointed and awkward.

While I can't deny that the lead actor has a certain charm-he's quite cute, and honestly, I wouldn't mind him throwing me in the dirt and having his way-the rest of the film leaves a lot to be desired. The dialogue was cringe-worthy, and the plot was predictable to the point of being forgettable.

In summary, Colorado Christmas is a prime example of how a movie can have all the elements of a holiday classic but still fall flat. If you're looking for quality entertainment, I'd recommend skipping this one. Save your time for something more worthwhile!

There aren't any surprises here, but Colorado Christmas gave me almost exactly what I was looking for: a warm, romantic piece of comfort for Christmas. After a hard day taking care of everything, I just wanted to get under a blanket and watch a movie to make me feel relaxed and happy. This little movie is just what the doctor ordered. Sweet as Christmas cookies. The only surprise was an unexpected appearance of Diana DeGarmo! She was one of my favorite American Idols so it was great fun to watch her. Don't expect exploding cars or nudity and bad language, but do expect to feel the warmth of love and Christmas. Just what the doctor ordered.

I really wanted to like this film, but it falls quite short! It is low budget and it shows. The problems in the film are numerous: the script is written more like a novel than a script. It didn't translate well to the screen. The movie is very dialogue heavy, and the speaking between the actors sounds more like prose narration than interaction. Flat and emotionless. In a romance film, one expects more spark. Not much chemistry between the two main actors. Much of the film is not that believable. All of the actors except for the child and the old guy seemed stilted and unsure of themselves in their roles. On the positive side, the scenery is lovely. I don't know if this was actually filmed in Colorado but it seems authentic.

Anyone else find it suspicious that not one, but TWO female characters portrayed in Colorado Christmas are not credited to any actresses? You are not alone, and neither are we! Access Hollywood and E Entertainment have refused to cover the facts, but the truth is that AI actresses and actors are being tested in 2023 Christmas movies, due to the largely unknown cast members, meaning viewers won't know the difference. While it is unproven, it is also said that AI directors have completed several 2023 holiday films, and Elgin Cahill is rumored to have signed an agreement with the producers prior to Colorado Christmas.

Truly egregious performances make this unwatchable. I've seen some really fun and sweet Hallmark movies with leads who can actually act, but this isn't one of them. It's completely unconvincing to the point of being bizarre and almost painful. Zero chemistry between the leads results in no connection to the story or the characters and so no interest in what happens. It's almost like they had no rehearsals or direction at all.

The setting is quite nice and the story could have been good without all of the above. Skip this if you're looking for something fun or comforting before it will probably depress you.
