Entertaining road trucker horror drama movie from lifetime

Pretty good movie, reminded me kind of like a made for tv version of joy ride in a way. It had some corny scenes but other than that it's pretty good. The other reviewer missed the point of the movie apparently cause this movie is very entertaining. It has some dumb decisions made by some of the main characters but it's to be excepted from a horror drama road trucker movie. Must watch if you're a fan of vengeful crazy trucker horror drama movies.

Lifetime horror

Helen Taylor (Sarah Allen) encounters hitchhiker Carly (Zoë Belkin) on a snow covered road. She's on her way to pick up her daughter Lauren Taylor (Erica Anderson). She agrees to take Carly who is actually doing a scam with her boyfriend Boyd following in a pickup truck. They seem to be followed by a mysterious trucker.

This premise holds some horror promise if not for Lifetime and the low rate TV production value. It's mostly the bad filmmaking which is low budget TV level. This needs to take place over one stormy night. It also needs better car stunt action. It needs a lot of better things.

Overly long and drawn out

Not unwatchable, but I kept waiting for the climax to hurry up. To the movie's credit, the villain was revealed fairly early, so we didn't have to sit through too much of figuring that out.

The snow, cold, and general gloominess in which the movie was filmed added to the vibe of the movie.

The ONE reason you should watch this

It is a forgettable movie but if you're looking for some quick entertainment it's not too bad. By the end I wanted the killer to win but, that's just me. The one reason is it keep you interested the entire movie. Yeah, you'll watch them being stupid and doing stupid stuff but all things considered, watch it. It's ok.
