Seversin

I don't think a 5.4 rating, is fair at this point. But i will admit, the first episodes, were pretty rough. Episode 1, was atrocious and episode 2, wasn't much better. However, by episode 3, it started getting better, and by episode 4, Seversin got much better. The series, is actually worth watching now.

The first episodes, were plagued by terrible pacing, character stereotypes, taken to the most extreme degree, and insultingly unrealistic plot points (even for a rom com), but by episode 5, all these problems, seem to have been dealt with, for the most part. Characters have finally started developing in a more realistic way, and the pacing, is a lot better. Seversin, is not boring to watch anymore, and it's actually worth a try now.

It an amazing show in opinion, Asya and Tolga are a very cute couple. I'm still watching the show and I'm very much in love I wish they would continue it for a long time.

I tried a few times to finish the first episode but I just could not. I guess this review is rather a personal view - there was too much shouting and loud talking and I felt a headache coming and was actually suffering as I tried to finish the episode. I like the female lead and her acting but the male lead's role in this series was hard to accept. I expect his character will change for the better as the series continue but I wonder how many episodes will that take? In short, the series does not give me enjoyment.

This TV show is really nice, and what I like most is how you compare real life with reality shows. It feels realistic and easy to connect with. But I felt the ending was incomplete. The kissing part was real what happened with the two main characters in the story the kiss at the end was nice, but it felt rushed. When a show ends that way, it leaves the viewer unsatisfied. You should try adding more to the ending or making another season. I watch these shows dubbed in Arabic, and I think it would be great if all romance TV shows were dubbed too. That would make them even better and easier to enjoy.

The irony of the story line makes for a mostly light RomCom. I especially like the female lead, who is spunky and cute. I hope her character will remain strong through out the duration of the series. The male lead has grown on me. I appreciate his ability to poke fun at stardom, notoriety and the excesses found in the acting profession. Initially I wasn't keen on this choice of lead actors, but as the series continues, I am realizing that he is clever and humorous and is doing a splendid job in his role. The supporting actors are fun to watch- as I have seen them in other favorite shows and love seeing them again in new roles.

I am enjoying the series very much and look forward each week to seeing what will happen next.

Post Finale: Overall, as time went by, the series lost much of it's comic charm. However, it was a very good series that was fun to watch and I wish it could have continued longer. I became a Tolga Tuna and Asya fan.
