An enjoyable movie with a decent storyline and enough scares to keep you interested.

It's a low budget affair, trying to make waves in a commercial horror field, so what it may lack in expensive production value, it tries to make up for with a solid story and a few decent scares, and for the most part the movie manages to romp along enough to keep your mind off some of the lower production values.

Technical aspects aside, the acting is great, with a mix of professional and amateur actors doing a good job with the pages. The actors are the best thing about the movie.

I liked it was in black and white, it adds to the mood of the piece. As does the pacing of the editing. It is a slow piece, the shots linger, often uncomfortably long! But then again, it is a horror film after all.
