It's rare to come across short films with a truly unique concept, but this one-despite (or thanks to) its hilariously long but surprisingly accurate title-might just be one of them.

The story follows the budding romance between two high school students. There's just one catch: whenever she gets excited, her head explodes. Now that's something I haven't seen before! Okay, maybe something vaguely similar, but definitely not in this kind of context.

The story is fun, and the color palette is charming-almost like something out of Barbie. The final twist includes a clever nod to the 1988 film They Live, which fans of sci-fi and satire will definitely appreciate.

A fun but gruesome little tale about the new girl in high school who doesn't quite fit in and the boy who digs her anyway. I love the pastel color palette, the singsongy soundtrack, and the soda shoppe that looks like The Jetsons (1962) come to life. These kids, despite the playground politics, show that there's someone out there for everyone.
