1) not an actual portrayal of what being a teen mother is really like. Most teen moms don't make $20,000 an episode. They can't afford four bedroom houses at 20 years old. 2) stop glamorizing teen pregnancy. The only mother on there that truly cares about her children is Chelsea and she did it with the full support of both her parents 3) Brianna is as low class as you can get and has ruined the show. strikes me as odd there is a new character introduced that wasn't on the original show. Word of advice to any viewers use your DVR so you can skip over her parts.

The "Teen Mom 2" is a reality television show that chronicles the lives of four young mothers. Janelle, who lives in North Carolina, Leah from West Virginia, North Dakota, and Kailyn in Pennsylvania are the main characters. The show covers the period between 2009 and 2010, and depicts the challenges and struggles faced by these mothers as they navigate their relationships and parenthood. While I enjoy watching this show, I do not have a favorable opinion of Janelle or the choices she has made. However, I would still recommend it to teenage viewers who may have misconceptions about the reality of being a young mother.

Sorry but I just don't get it. How is this show supposed to be an example for other young girls? All I see is several girls/women that can't seem to keep their legs closed and keep having children with different men.

Well, perhaps the message should be that having a baby is by no means a guarantee that your relationship will work out.

As for the show, just cancel it already. The world has seen more than enough of these washed up drama queens.

Parenting isn't easy. These teens take on responsibilities they never had to do before. It's a great show.

Addicted to the drama and non-stop fights. Some of the girls like Leah and Chelsea have matured into fantastic mums, however the rest still have some growing up to do.

Teen Mom 2 is by far the most dramatic out of the entire Teen Mom and 16 & Pregnant franchise. Whether you watch this show or not you are probably aware of the self destructive behaviours and legal troubles of the "stars" in this show. Drugs, deadbeat dad's, multiple weddings and repeat irresponsible pregnancies. These girls just cannot get their lives together.

To really enjoy and understand this show you need to watch it from the beginning of their 16 & Pregnant journey. It will help you somewhat relate to the girls and watch them grow and develop. No matter how many times they try to change they always return to their past mistakes.

I understand why people think this encourages teen pregnancy, they appear to be able to afford their own homes, nice cars and life luxuries but that does not change the fact that their lives are screwed up and sad. If you raise an intelligent child, they will be able to see through the facade that is Teen Mom 2 and realise that a new car does not make up for losing the prime time of your life. Besides, you only get the perks if you get yourself a TV show to pay for it. Personally I feel sorry for them. They are craving love and attention and the only way they got it was by ruining their lives.
